This year has been a bad year for many celebrity couples as we saw them parting ways and ending up in divorces or break-ups. Recently, rumours were doing the rounds that another famous television couple is heading for a split due the man’s growing closeness with his upcoming movie’s co-star.

Yes, we are talking about one of the most-loved jodis on Indian television, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee.
The couple was constantly in news for their alleged fight over Gurmeet’s steamy scenes with Sana Khan in his upcoming movie, Wajah Tum Ho.

According to the sources, their marriage was in trouble and Debina even left Gurmeet mid-way on their romantic vacation in Sri Lanka and came back alone!
But, contrary to the reports, Gurmeet has another story to tell. Here is what the actor said about the alleged divorce and trouble in his paradise:
“First of all, Debina and I were in Sri Lanka for an event and not a vacation. Secondly, we did not fight over my hot scenes in my film. Why would we? She was very much aware of the content. Yes, I told her about my scenes with Sana (Khan).”
Clearing the air, Gurmeet further added:
“Being an actor herself she knows that’s not me making love on camera. She not only gave her consent but also encouraged me to give those smouldering scenes all the spark that I could give. It’s not as if Debina didn’t know I was doing this film. She loved the script of Wajah Tum Ho as much as I did.”

Well, the actor clearly sounds disappointed over all these rumours about his marriage being in trouble over his steamy scenes with Sana. But, we are happy that Gurmeet has come out in open and cleared the allegations. After all, we love Gurmeet and Debina so much!
