Riteish and Genelia completed nine years of marital bliss on February 3, 2020, and got flooded with lovely wishes from all over the industry and their millions of fans. The doting, much in love couple also curated cutesy wishes for each other on the special occasion. To celebrate their anniversary Genelia arranged a surprise romantic dinner for her hubby, Riteish, and we couldn't get over the fact of how happy and in love, the couple looked. Riteish posted a video of the lovely evening on his IG handle and wrote, "Surprise Anniversary Celebration by the Baiko @geneliad - this is just the beginning- the master surprise is @chefvikramjitroy who flew down specially from Delhi." Talking about the couple's anniversary wishes for each other, Genelia had posted a video, wherein, we could see her showering love on her hubby, Riteish. Alongside it, she had written, "Dearest @riteishd, you don’t find love, it finds you. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, what’s written in the stars and a lot to do with special kind of you. There is no me without you. I’m totally madly, crazy in love you. On the other hand, Ritesh had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a lovely picture with his baiko, Genelia. We could see Riteish donning a gorgeous green kurta in the picture, while Genelia was seen wearing a yellow-coloured saree. The actor was seen resting his head on his wifey, Genelia's shoulder. Alongside the picture, he had curated a cute anniversary wish for her, which could be read as "This is my resting place forever, I will live here, for this is the home I desired. Happy anniversary baiko @geneliad."
We remember last year on their 8th anniversary, Genelia had posted a video that had comprised of their beautiful moments together and had written, “Dearest Forever, Grow old along with me, I promise the best is yet to come. Happy Anniversary @riteishd Just to let you know I Love being my Husband’s wife #since2002.” Riteish had shared an Insta story, revealing what the lovebirds were up to on their anniversary. And to wish his baiko, he had posted a hilarious video on his Instagram and had captioned it as "Happy Anniversary Baiko @geneliad."
Earlier, in a joint interview with the Hindustan Times, Genelia and Riteish had opened up on their married life. During the interview, Riteish had shared that he has asked his wife, Genelia to ask him only 10 questions in a day and her quota ends in the morning within five minutes. To this, Genelia had stated, "I ask whatever I need to ask, he can reply or not, that’s his choice. There is a saying, ‘happy wife, happy life’, and he knows that very well."
