Indian wrestler, Geeta Phogat is one such lucky woman, who had gotten married to the love of her life and wrestler, Pawan Saroha. Geeta Phogat had made the entire nation proud by winning the first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. On November 20, 2016, she had gotten married to her fellow Haryana-based wrestler, Pawan Saroha. And after three years, on December 24, 2019, the couple had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby boy, Arjun Saroha. Since the little one’s birth, Geeta and Pawan have been posting glimpses of their parenthood phase and how they are making the most of their time with Arjun.
On November 20, 2020, Geeta Phogat and Pawan Saroha completed four years of marital bliss and Geeta penned an emotional wish for her man, Pawan. She took to her IG handle and shared two adorable pictures with Pawan and captioned her wish in Hindi, which can be read as “Shadi ki 4th saalagirah ki bahut bahut badhaee jaaneman…tumhaare or tumhaare pyaar ke baare mein jitana likhoon utane hi mere paas shabd kam pad jaenge, main apane aap ko bahut khushanaseeb maanati hoon jo tum mujhe jeevanasaathee ke roop mein mile!! Meri zindagee ka tum sabase anamol tohafa ho jise main dher saare pyaar or dekhabhaal se zindagee bhar sambhaal kar rakhana chaahati hoon !! Yun to har kisee kee zindagi mein sukh-duhkh aate hain par jis tarah se tum har paristhiti mein mujhe sambhaalakar aage badhane ka honsala dete ho vahi to pyaar hai or vahi jeevan hai !! tumhaari taareef mein har shabd pheeka pad jaayega…ek achche insaan or insaaniyat ki paribhaasha tum par bahut achchhe se jamti hai. On the other hand, Pawan took to his IG handle and shared a lovely picture with Geeta and wished his wife with the most adorable note. His wish can be read as “Zindagi ke saaree mushkilon se ladane ke liye mujhe bas ek cheez chaahiye, wo tumhaari pyaari-si Muskaan. On October 16, 2020, Pawan Saroha had turned a year older, and his wife, Geeta Phogat had posted a lovely birthday wish for the love of her life. Sharing a picture from Pawan’s birthday celebration, Geeta had written, “Happy Birthday To The Love Of My Life I feel blessed to have you at my side Have a great birthday, sweetheart #happybirthday.” While Geeta had looked beautiful in a red-stripped kurta, Pawan had looked dapper in a black shirt as they smiled for the picture, holding his birthday cake.
While Geeta Phogat had taken a break from her career to take care of their baby, her husband, Pawan Kumar Saroha had made everyone proud by winning a gold medal in National Championship in November 2019. And it was his proud wife, Geeta, who had taken to her IG handle to congratulate her ‘dear husband’.
