Gautami Kapoor Defends Ram Kapoor's Infidelity Is Not Deal-Breaker Remark, 'If Love Is True..'

Gautami Kapoor has always been a pillar of strength for Ram Kapoor. Even though, Ram has left many in shock with his recent acts on Lock Upp 2 hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Now, Gautami backed Ram's statement on infidelity, which sparked nationwide murmurs about how infidelity sounds cool for a married man, while knowing many are listening to him.

Gautami Kapoor stands by Ram Kapoor amid his controversial statement on infidelity 

Gautami and Ram have been together for a long time. Recently, after Ram revealed his opinion on infidelity not being a dealbreaker, his wife, Gautami Kapoor, took to her Instagram stories and shared her support. In the first IG story, she posted a photo with Ram, and atop it, she wrote, "Only love."

In another IG story, Gautam re-shared a post by Sadhguru, where he stated that if Love is true, it will happen without any objection. He said:

"If love is true it will happen without an object. If it's really genuine true love it will happen what it means is you have made your emotions very pleasant… Everything that you behold you have a certain pleasantness towards it, that is love."

Ram Kapoor claimed his wife had no object

Recently, in an episode, Ram Kapoor left many surprised by sharing his opinions on infidelity. He stated that when a person is married for 20-25 years, they tend to go through highs and lows; they go through all kinds of seasons. And if in a bad phase, they end up making a mistake, then it is okay if you cannot live without your partner and kids; then it is not a deal breaker. He said:

"Sometimes during 20-25 years of marriage, what happens is you have highs and lows, good periods and bad periods. Bad phase mein agar galti se kisi ek se kuch hojaaye, agar aap unke bagair nahi jee sakte aur aapne bacchon ke bagair nahi jee sakte."

However, Akanksha Chamola gave him a reality check and interrupted him by saying that nothing happens by mistake. She stated that to get intimate with someone, you need to take the person's clothes off and then your own. So, you cannot run away by calling it just a mistake. This left many questioning Ram Kapoor's thoughts. 

Ram Kapoor once revealed his wife banged the phone when she heard about his kissing scene

Earlier, in an interaction, Gautami shared what she thought when she found out that her husband would be kissing another woman and performing an intimate scene. She said that she got a call at 2:30 in the morning, and at that time she was a breastfeeding mother. However, as soon as she heard about Ram going to shoot an intimate scene with Sakshi, she banged the phone on his face, as she didn't want to think about it. Gautami was quoted as saying:

"I got the call at 2.30 am. I was a mother who was breastfeeding at that time. So when I got the call at 2.30-3 am saying that, 'Listen baby, this is what has happened', my first reaction was I kept the phone on Ram. I was like, ‘What?’ I kept the phone on Ram. I didn’t even want to think further."

Gautami added that she later thought about her reaction and if it was too much. She decided to take her own time to understand her own emotions and if banging the phone on his face was the right thing to do. She added that Ram was working relentlessly day in and day out on the sets. There would be days when he wouldn't come home, and due to the workload, it gave her time to understand her emotions on the same.

It is worth mentioning that Ram had stated on Lock Upp 2 that his wife had no problem with him kissing other actors on-screen.
