After much speculations and deliberations, Gauahar Khan had finally announced the news of her marriage to legendry music composer, Ismail Darbar's elder son, Zaid Darbar on December 1, 2020. The beautiful couple had looked a match made in heaven in their pre-wedding photoshoot. And on December 25, 2020, when the whole nation was doused in Christmas celebrations, the lovebirds had said Qubool Hai to each other in a dreamy ceremony!
The newlyweds, Gauahar and Zaid's every wedding function was full of sweet memories which made them the perfect couple. For their walima, Gauahar had donned a beige lehenga ornated with gold neckpieces and looked every bit royal, radiating bridal glow. On the other hand, Zaid looked dapper in a black tux. Gauahar had opted for a white sharara suit with golden self-work on it for the nikaah, and Zaid had gone for a white bandhgala sherwani with white stole. On December 28, 2020, Gauahar and Zaid had shared first post-wedding pictures on their respective IG handles. In the pictures, Gauahar and Zaid could be seen twinning in grey, with wifey and hubby written on their respective t-shirts. Gauahar’s mehendi clad hands, mangalsutra had made her look even more gorgeous, and her huge engagement ring had stolen all our attention. In one of the pictures shared by Gauahar, she had blushed while posing with her hubby, Zaid as she could be seen covering her face, and thus giving a glimpse of her huge ring. Sharing the pictures, both Gauahar and Zaid had added heart emoticon in their captions.
In an interview with ETimes, the groom's father, Ismail Darbar had talked about Zaid Darbar's marriage and had revealed that he is happy to see his son having a life-partner like Gauahar. The music director had also recalled a beautiful incident from the wedding, when his bahu, Gauahar's mother, Razia Zafar Khan had asked Ismail saab to take care of her daughter. On this, Ismail saab had said, "She (Razia ji) told me meri beti ka khayyal rakhna. I told her that aap ki beti itni kaabil hai ki woh mere poore parivaar ka khayyal rakhegi."
