Popular TV actor Kushal Tandon has once again found himself hogging the limelight. He has been playing his cards well on the reality show, Alliance. Now, eliminated contestant Vriddhi Patwa opened up about Kushal's Rs. 50 lakhs in earnings from the show. She spoke about how Kushal has been boasting of minting Rs. 50 lakh weekly, and this has added another layer of controversy to the show.

According to social media reports, it was being alleged that Gauahar Khan's ex-boyfriend Kushal Tandon is reportedly paid Rs. 1.5 crore for an entire season. Vriddhi Patwa, who has been evicted from Alliance, stated that Kushal may have earned a bit more, but she questioned the figures. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she said:

"But, article nikla hai ki pura season ka unko sirf Rs 1 crore mila hai. Wo pure time bolta tha, itna mila hua hai mujhe... Rs 50 lakhs per week.'

Vriddhi, who is a social media influencer, found it hard to believe that Kushal was actually getting Rs. 1 crore for the full season of Alliance. Vriddhi did mention that Kushal often spoke about his earnings from Alliance in the conversations.

It is worth mentioning that Kushal Tandon has not confirmed his exact fees at Alliance. A Redditor mentioned that the game is focused on him due to his paycheck and said, "That's why from starting the game is revolving around Kushal only from all the panga's and making groups - breaking groups, people evictions based on Kushal's choice..all makes sense and upon that sending Aly and having Aly-Kushal fight now again wildcard entry of Vanshaj and his fight on same day of re-entry coming out all makes sense that kushal will be there till finale."

Another Redditor refuted claims of Kushal getting Rs. 1 crore and wrote, "I saw one more post with realistic figures which seem more reliable. Big celebrities in Lockupp aren't getting huge; why will Kushal get it? You have to negotiate brands; they won't pay the same as Bigg Boss, which is already an established one. 50 lakhs is prize money whereas Lockupp is 1cr prize money; that show is definitely bigger than Alliance."

Social media folks aren't even happy that in Alliance the season is focused totally on Kushal Tandon. A user wrote, "Why is Kushal’s “expected” ask entire season-wise? Usko finale tak leke jaaenge. Sad part that they created this for Kushal."

Speaking about Vriddhi, she recalled a conversation with Kushal, who told her of charging Rs. 50 lakh weekly per episode. She had taken a dig at the actor and had firmly told him, "Ye sab wo (Kushal) bolte the. Maine unko ek baar bola bhi tha, 'Main kya karun aap Rs 50 lakh kamao ya Rs 5 lakh kamao. Why should I care about it? Agar aap kama rahe ho to itna jata kyu rahe ho chote chote bachchon ko."

As seen in the latest episode of Alliance, Vriddhi Patwa was unable to complete her task successfully. She was evicted, and that marked the end of her wildcard journey after she survived a very small stint in the full competition.

Netizens are mostly convinced that Alliance has been about Kushal Tandon, as he is charging a very hefty amount related to the same. A user even said, "Isliye isko that Ghamand hai “Mere contract me likha hai. Yup, no wonder all the episodes are Kushal-centric. I remember he was paid a hefty amount in Bigg Boss too. I guess that explains why they have to bring in all the Kaleshi WC now. Gotta justify the amount that's paid to him."
