Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar had a ‘chatt mangni, patt byaah’ as their chance encounter during the lockdown 2020 had started their forever journey. It was on November 5, 2020, when Gauahar and Zaid had confirmed their relationship and on December 25, 2020, the two had tied the knot by saying ‘qubool hai’ to each other.

For their wedding, Gauahar Khan had opted for a heavily embroidered ivory sharara with a double dupatta. She had accentuated her look with a statement neckpiece with pearls and mint green stones, a maang teeka and a passa. On the other hand, her shauhar, Zaid Darbar had complemented her in an ivory self-work sherwani.
As the couple has marked six months of their married life, Gauahar Khan gifted her husband, Zaid Darbar Nike Air Force 1 High shoes. She customised the shoes specifically for Zaid and it costs Rs 9,995 only. Taking to his IG stories, Zaid shared a picture of his customised shoes by Gauahar and wrote, “Designed by my baby Thank you.”
After their wedding, it was on December 28, 2020, when Gauahar and Zaid had shared their first pictures post-wedding on their IG handles. The couple could be seen twinning in grey, with wifey and hubby written on their respective t-shirts. Gauahar could be seen flaunting her mehendi clad hands, mangalsutra and huge engagement ring. Both Gauahar and Zaid had captioned their pictures with a heart emoticon.

Almost one month after their wedding, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar had exchanged jaimala as they had visited one of their relatives. Gauahar had looked gorgeous in a grey-toned sharara suit with pink and blue pattern and gotta patti work. The couple had enjoyed a karaoke night and dinner at their relative’s home and had also exchange jaimala and had cut the cake. Gauahar had shared pictures from the same on her IG handle.
On December 19, 2020, six days before their wedding, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar had shared a cutesy video of their love story on their IG handles. The animated caricature video had narrated how Gauahar and Zaid had met during the lockdown and how their chance meeting had started their love story. Sharing the video, Gauahar had written, "Jab we Met @zaid_darbar #6daystogo #GazabKaHaiDin."
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Gauahar Khan was asked if Zaid Darbar gets jealous when someone flirts with her and she had shared that no one even dares to flirt with her. She had said, "No one has ever dared to flirt with me. Firstly, because I am a very intimidating personality. When I was single, people couldn't flirt with me. Now the world knows I am a married woman, that too, to Zaid Darbar."
