In the mid-2020, rumours were rife that Bigg Boss 7 winner, Gauahar Khan was in a relationship with music composer, Ismail Darbar's son, choreographer, Zaid Darbar. While the duo had started hitting the headlines, their mushy pictures and social media PDA had added fuel to the rumours. However, after staying tight-lipped for some time, on November 5, 2020, Gauahar had confirmed that she was dating Zaid.
It was on December 25, 2020, when Gauahar Khan had said qubool hai to her soulmate, Zaid Darbar. For her nikaah, Gauahar had looked mesmerising in an ivory sharara and double dupatta. She had accessorised her look with a statement neckpiece, a maang teeka and a passa. On the other hand, Zaid had looked dapper in an ivory sherwani. Since then there was no looking back for the couple and they are going to complete a year of togetherness very soon.

Well, time flies in the blink of an eye and it still feels like yesterday when Gauhar Khan had got married to Zaid Darbar. To mark their first wedding anniversary, the duo got their hand sculptures curated by the renowned hand and feet curator, Bhavna Jasra. Bhavna shared a video on her IG handle in which Gauahar and Zaid can be seen holding each other’s hand as they dipped it into a formula that would lead to the creation of an impression of being together forever.
The video shared by Bhavna Jasra featured the final product of the lovebirds, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar's hand impressions that looked stunning as it shined in gold. Along with it, we can also see their wedding date etched onto it. For those who don't know, Bhavna has curated the hand sculptures for various celebrities like Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya. Not only that, but she has also curated the hand and foot impression of her sister, Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh's son, Jovan and Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic's son, Agastya.

Gauahar Khan is quite active on social media and we have often seen her share snippets of her happy marital life. On September 28, 2021, the actress had shared an IG Reel, where we had got a glimpse of Gauahar's huge diamond ring as she had tried the trend in which women show the ring their partner had proposed to them with. She had captioned it as "#trend #reels @zaid_darbar not a #ringpop! Heheheheh." However, it was Zaid's comment that had won our hearts. He had written, "But Where are the other rings?"
On August 23, 2021, as Gauhar had turned 38, her doting husband, Zaid Darbar had shared a series of pictures from her white-and-gold themed birthday. However, it was the caption to the pictures that had given their fans an insight into why Gauahar’s birthday calls for double celebrations as the choreographer had revealed that it was on her birthday that he had popped the million-dollar question to her. He had written:
“This day will always be special! It was the day I proposed my wife and it’s been a year since she said yes. She is the strongest and has the best soul, Happiest birthday to this lovely person. I love you @gauaharkhan. Happy Birthday to my jaanu again!”
