Folarin Balogun is a professional soccer player, who plays as a striker for Ligue 1 club Monaco and the United States national team. The talented player was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Nigerian parents. When he was just one month old, he moved out of the US and grew up in London. He joined Arsenal at the age of 8, and in 2017, he was a part of Trevor Bumstead's Arsenal U16 side.

While grabbing attention with his skills and professional endeavours, he was on the radar of the US Soccer Federation, and he was eventually called up to the national team at the U18 level. As he was born in the United States to Nigerian parents, he could represent the United States, England, and Nigeria at the international level; however, he chose to go for the US.
