Who is Mike Maignan?
As per reports, Mike Maignan is one of the most talked-about footballers of today's generation. He was born in 1995 and brought up in France. Reportedly, he developed a passion for football at a young age. He started his journey by playing football in local academies and later, joined Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy. Eventually, he got the perfect opportunity to become a professional goalkeeper and the rest is history.
Coming to his personal life, the goalkeeper lives with his mother and siblings. It is worth mentioning that there is no information about his father. Over the past few months, Mike has often spoken about his mother and how important she is in his life. Explaining it, Mike once shared:
"My greatest pride is helping my mother. On the other hand, I didn’t take her out on my first pro contract, I didn’t have the means yet. I took her out after the 2nd or 3rd contract. Her tears are…it’s a joy, it means that I succeeded."
Further, he explained that the biggest pride in his life is seeing his family happy, especially his mother. He mentioned that even though he buys multiple cars, that is not pride for him. In his words:
"Everything good that happens to your family, and even more so to your mother, is your greatest pride. When you have children, you get married, your sister has a diploma, your brother succeeds, these are the most important moments. Everything you see out there, even if we have cars, Bugattis, whatever you want, that’s not pride. Our pride is the success of the family."
Is Mike Maignan in a relationship?
If reports are to be believed, Mike has been linked with TV personality, Melanie Da Cruz since a while now. It all began after the influencer started 'liking' the footballer's post. This led to a major debate on social media. Even though the goalkeeper neither confirmed nor denied it. However, Melanie once spoke to a French magazine and said:
"This rumour appeared a year ago... But he's my best friend. He's been my friend for 11 years. Don't mess around!"
Later, Melanie sat down for another interview, during which she again set the record straight and explained, "I don't get maintained by a footballer or a banker. In fact, it's starting to do well. We don't know each other, we've never crossed paths. He will be able to say it, to certify it. Stop pissing us off."
For those who do not know, before being linked with Mike, Melanie was reportedly married to Anthony Martial. The ex-couple even share a son. After staying together for a while, the former couple parted ways. Apart from this, some social media reports claimed that the TV personality also dated Randal Kolo Muani. Amid this, she recently spoke about being single and stated that she is focusing on her happiness.
