Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan are famous names in the television industry. The duo became the favourite characters of every household with their stint in the star plus serial, Imlie. However, Sumbul and Fahmaan often made it to the headlines with their off-screen chemistry in the past few years. Now the duo made it to the headlines again, as in a recent interview, Fahmaan Khan opened up about his fallout with his co-star, Sumbul, and blamed the latter's father for the same.
In the latest interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fahmaan Khan shared his story regarding the fallout between him and Sumbul. The actor shared that it all began after he and Sumbul were supposed to do a music video with singer, Tabish, But the latter's father asked her to cancel on that song. Talking about the same, Fahmaan said to Bollywood Bubble that it was his side of the story and revealed that Sumbul's father didn't like a video featuring him and Sumbul. Talking about the same video, Fahmaan shared that it featured Sumbul lying on his hand while they fell asleep on the sets of Imlie, as they were tired of shooting. Fahmaan Khan stated:
"This is the first and last time I am going to talk about it. Ye mera sach hai. Sumbul and I share an equation. While we were shooting Imlie, we were all the time together and people have seen that and it was nothing new. In the video, she was lying on my hand and we slept as we had been shooting the whole day and were tired. Someone took that video and put up and I reshared it. Her father didn’t like that."

Now talking about how Sumbul Touqeer's father, Hasan Touqeer Khan got involved in the former and Fahmaan's fallout, the latter shared that Hasan clearly stated that she wouldn't be doing the music video with singer, Tabish. Soon after, Hasan told Fahmaan about his music video with Sumbul, which the latter didn't like, and he said that they would part ways. Elaborating on the same, Fahmaan shared:
"He very clearly mentioned that ‘nahi, Tabish ka gaana nahi karunga main’. And immediately he told me about his music video with Sumbul. Wo baat mujhe chubhi thodi. Mujhe laga ki ye galat hai. Itna maafi maangne ke baad, bachcha samajh ke maaf kar do. To maine kaha ki uncle aisa hai, to jo aapka music video hai, wo bhi nahi karunga main. Aap apna kijiye, main apna kar leta hun. We’ll part ways. And I kept that call."

Further in the interview, when asked whether he and Sumbul would patch up, Fahmaan said he called her on Eid, but she didn't receive the call. Fahmaan also shared that losing out on a friend matters. The actor also shared that he messaged Sumbul and said that he couldn't believe he couldn't even call her, and as a reply, Sumbul said that it was not her fault. Fahmaan, in the interview, then called himself that 2 am friend and stated that he would always be there for her. Reflecting on the same, Fahmaan stated:
"Eid ke din maine call kiya tha teeno ko, kisi ne phone nahi uthaya mera. Mujhe bura lagta hai is baat ka ki ye media, fandom se pehle meri dosti thi na usse. For me, that mattered. Losing out on a friend matters. I messaged her the other day that I can’t believe that I can’t even call you. This is so bad. She said meri galti nahi hai. I said I know par kahin se to ho raha hai. I am right here. I’ll come at 2’o clock if you have a problem. That’s the kind of friend I am."
As per a report of Fifafooz, Sumbul Touqeer Khan was approached to comment on the latest interview of Fahmaan Khan. According to the report, the actress refused to talk and said she is not in such a mental state to talk as one of her cats passed away and the other one is in hospital. Sumbul could be quoted saying:
"Is samay main is mental state me nahi hu ki main iska jawab de paun. Main isliye ye cheez bol rahi hu coz one of my cats passed away and the other one is in hospital. To abhi main condition me nahi hu ki main aapse kya bolu ya is interview ke baare me kya baat karni chahiye."
