Evanna Lynch and Denis Skinner got married at Islington Town Hall in what was described as a very sweet and simple ceremony with their close ones in attendance, followed by a celebration at the iconic Wilton's Music Hall. Lynch admitted in an interview that she was initially quite dismissive about wedding planning, finding it overly extravagant, but as the day drew nearer, she came to see how distinctive and special it was.
The actress, who has strong faith in the universe, also consulted a Vedic astrologer to pick a spiritually significant date for her marriage, according to British Vogue. She had first picked August 22, 2026, to steer clear of a solar eclipse and because of its double-number meaning as an angel number, but when the venue was not free, she finalized August 21, 2026.
Evanna Lynch appeared dressed like a sugarplum fairy in a 1949 strapless corset gown made of layered chiffon tulle paired with a veil adorned with pearls. Staying true to her animal rights advocacy, she wore vegan heels. Skinner, on the other hand, wore a green corduroy suit from SuitSupply and footwear from Rothy's made out of plastic bottles, reflecting his concern for the environment.
