Euphoria Finale, Who Dies After Nate Jacobs? Fans Are Shattered With A Shocking Death, Actor Reacts

Euphoria has come to an end after three successful seasons. In the 7th episode of the show, the viewers remained baffled with the passing of 'Nate Jacobs', and the 8th season came with an even stronger shocker. One of the major characters from the show died at the end of the series. The show first premiered in 2019, and the third season came after a whole lot of waiting.

While people had been anticipating season 3, it failed to impress most of them; however, it managed to hit the headlines, for that matter, after every episode was dropped, every week. Be it through 'Cassie' joining OF, or the messed up wedding of her with 'Nate' or his fatal death, or 'Maddy' being the centre of attention. 'Nate Jacobs' death in the 7th season already left people a bit shattered, and now people are devastated with the final episode because one of the main characters died.

Spoilers ahead!

Zendaya's 'Rue' dies in Euphoria finale

The 8th episode of the show, Euphoria 3, which is titled 'In God We Trust', begins from where the last episode ended. 'Rue' was stealing from 'Wayne', and 'Faye' screamed. 'Rue' fled from the scene, hurting 'Wayne', and even when he was chasing her, aiming his rifle at her. Although 'Rue' escaped, she was then chased by 'Harley' but again fled from that place as 'G' shot the latter. 'Rue' met 'Alamo', who congratulated her for doing her job right, and thereby awarded her with drugs and money. She reached 'Ali's place and took pills. Zendaya's 'Rue' overdoses on fentanyl, and 'Ali' found her unresponsive on his couch. Yes! Halfway through the 93-minute episode of the show, 'Rue' died.

This came as a shock to the Euphoria fans. Before her death was confirmed on-screen, 'Rue' was seen dreaming; she was in a field with 'Fez' (late actor, Agnus Cloud). As it seems, the scenes that were shot were from archives before Agnus' passing in 2023, which was also a reason that the series was delayed. 'Rue' also appeared in her extensive dream, visited her childhood home, where her mom was reading the Bible. The camera then showed 'Ali' waking up 'Rue', but she remained unresponsive.

There's a few months' time-leap, with 'Ali' being shown in his support meetings and speaking about right and wrong. He also kills 'Alamo' eventually. 'Jules' was seen crying while painting 'Rue', and 'Lexi' spoke to 'Cassie' about 'Rue' leaving her Bible behind and regretting not fixing things beforehand. Well, 'Rue' death midway through the finale was something that was not expected, and the fans of the show have been left devastated.
