Esha Deol has learnt the art of acting and dance from her mother, Hema Malini. From a very young age, Esha fell in love with the world of cinema, courtesy of her mother, Hema, who was hailed as the 'Dream Girl', despite the fact that her father, Dharmendra was against it. But gradually Esha convinced him and became the first Deol daughter to enter in films. The Deols love keeping their life personal. However, for the first time, Esha gave a glimpse of her family home in Juhu, and it is all things beautiful.
Recently, in an interaction with Nayandeep Rakshit for his show, Knock Knock, Esha opened the doors of her sprawling Juhu bungalow, Advitiya, which happens to be her family home, beautifully decorated by her mother, Hema Malini. And oh boy, every corner of the bungalow is filled with love and a backstory.
Esha Deol's space is decorated with outdoor plants and a lot of greenery. The actress showed their sacred place, their dance hall, where the mommy-daughter duo do their dance rehearsals, and hear movie narrations and Hema Malini hosts her get-togethers. It is a beautiful hall with wooden flooring that is perfect for dancers to practice. The hall has beautiful vibes with orange and yellow tones, and carpets that give out vintage vibes.
The room is also decorated with a lot of portraits of Hema Malini, and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. The family is highly spiritual, and they make sure to include the idols of Ganpati Bappa, Krishna and Maa Durga.
Esha also gave a glimpse of the house, which had all Hema Malini's trophies and a wide range of framed photos. While some were from her collection, some were gifted to her by renowned artists. Sharing an anecdote, Esha revealed when they invite people to their home, they wonder why they have hung Hema and Dharmendra's big portraits, and later, they find out that it is their home.
Esha also showed a special picture of Hema And Dharmendra from their film, Razia Sultan (1983). While talking about the picture, Esha revealed that she was in her mum's tummy when this photo was shot, and they were sitting on a camel.
Esha also gave a tour of her makeup room, which was a small role with huge French doors. It had all her framed pictures and aesthetic art, which read 'Everyone is a star in the family'. It also had a huge vanity mirror, two makeup chairs and a comfy couch.
Esha Deol showed another magnificent golden-toned table and a huge mirror, which is from her grandmother's time and had travelled with them. The actress shared that they have re-painted it in golden and it is a special piece for their entire family.
Esha further showed the living room, which she redesigned. It had feminine colours of mint blue, pastel pinks and grey. The room had huge windows that gave a glimpse of trees and greenery.
