Erica Fernandes has ruled millions of hearts with her stellar performances as 'Prerna Sharma' in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and 'Dr Sonakshi Bose' in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. Apart from acting, she is also known for her avid social media skills as a YouTube vlogger, model and Instagram influencer. She has also made a mark in Kannada, Tamil and Telegu television shows like Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, Galipatam and Dega. She has also won several awards like Miss Fresh Face 2011 and Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra in 2010 and 2011.
Erica's link up with her co-stars has hit the headlines a number of times. For the unversed, Erica Fernandes and her co-star from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Parth Samthaan's dating rumours had finally rested when she had shared a glimpse of someone special in her life. Confirming being in love, Erica had posted a picture on her IG handle wherein she could be seen holding someone's hand and had sported a ring with her name's initials carved on it. Then, clarifying that she's not engaged, Erica had written:
"When I'm with you, I act different , in a good way, of course. I always smile more, i always laugh more With you i can drop the fake smile (if any) and put on a real one. I don't feel hurt or alone when I'm with you; instead I feel safe and loved You're easy to talk to, and you listen to me. I don't feel sad around you, and you show me that you really do care in-fact I can see that you're not pretending. I really appreciate what you've done and continue to do coz with you I'm different I'm happy #us p.s :- if that's what your thinking then Nah not engaged."

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Erica Fernandes opened up about her love life. She mentioned how she had been in an 'off-and-on relationship' for three and half years. She also talked about why she did not disclose her boyfriend's name. She said to the portal:
"It was kind of an off-and-on relationship that I had for about three and a half years. But, it didn't work. People comment on why have I never mentioned who was my boyfriend at that point in time. Because I have never mentioned anybody's names before because that's respect. You know, no one wants the world to know their name or who I am with. That's the respect I have shown. It should be like that. I have never hidden and I don't find the need to hide anything."
Further, in the same conversation, Erica explained how she had fallen in love twice, whereas the person had taken her for granted. She added:
"I have fallen twice and become stronger. And that has made me a very strong person. So, the next person I know, I know I'm not going to have someone who takes me for granted."

Talking about her personal life, then earlier, there were speculations that the actress was dating her Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi co-star, Shaheer Sheikh. Later, conjectures were rife that she was in a relationship with her Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 co-star, Parth Samthaan. However, time and again, Erica had refuted all such rumours related to her personal life. For example, in an interview with ETimes, Erica had said:
"No, not with Parth. But see, he has a different life, and when link-up rumours happen, it is going to affect our personal lives. But now I think I have made it clear and it is under control."
On April 1, 2020, in an Instagram LIVE chat, Erica had answered all her fan's questions. During the fun chat, a user had asked Erica about her bond with her former co-star and alleged ex-boyfriend, Shaheer Sheikh. In reply to which, the actress had talked about how she and Shaheer bumped into each other at social events and had replied:
"Well, we haven't been able to keep in touch so often. He is busy with his own show and I'm busy with my work. But, we do bump into each other at parties and social events. So, more or less, we manage to catch up and share some moments together."
Erica Fernandes was last seen in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi Season 3.
