Elliot Cadeau is a 21-year-old American-Swedish basketball player associated with Michigan point. However, he has been in the news after an allergic reaction forced him to get admitted to the hospital earlier this week. It happened before the team's trip to the Final Four.

Talking about the allergic reaction, Elliot revealed that he had eaten something to which he was allergic. Elliot added that it happened before when he was younger and it was the reason this time, he rushed to the hospital and didn't take the risk. Amidst it, all eyes are on Elliot Cadaeu's personal life and the lady he is involved with.

Elliot Cadeau, a young basketball star

Elliot Cadeau started his NBA journey with the North Carolina Tar Heels. Elliot was born in Brooklyn, New York and represented Sweden in international basketball. He has lived in West Orange, New Jersey. Talking about his father, James, he has Haitian roots, while his mother, Michelle, is Swedish. 

Elliot started playing basketball after his dream of becoming a footballer was dashed. He attended The Patrick School in Hillside, NJ, and made his name with his game. He even helped the team win the 2019 Under Armour Nationals. After which, he joined Bergen Catholic High, but the pandemic cut his freshman season short. Later, he joined the Carolina team and showed his performance as a basketball player and maintained his strong footing in Sweden's national teams. He won various medals and MVP titles.

Elliot loves his game so much that he is ready to play the matches even after his health scare. Well, his crazy love for sports comes from his father, James, who has been the backbone of the family. James built a life in Brooklyn, New York, where he developed his connection with sports through tennis. He never pursued basketball professionally, but he has spent 25 years as an amateur tennis player. He has played many matches in the public court and knows the importance of a game. 

So, instead of getting formal training, Elliot's father, James, helped him learn the art of staying attentive in a game from home. The weekend tennis sessions helped shape him and give lessons in footwork, recovery and mental toughness. These traits helped shape Elliot's game and staying calm under pressure. 

Talking about Elliot Cadeau's older brother, Justin, he also followed the same path of his father and plays tennis at Howard University. On the other hand, his mother, Michelle Cadeau, gave him direction. She hails from Sweden, and she helped him achieve his dream of playing basketball. When Elliot wanted to play football, she showed him the way towards basketball in fifth grade due to health concerns. It was the decision that helped him find his true calling. In an interview, his mother expressed her happiness at her son achieving his dream. She said:

"I’m very proud of him, and I think his story needs to be told because there are so many kids walking around with something — a hearing aid, an insulin pump, glasses, whatever it may be — and they can feel limited by it. Elliot is living proof that you can still get where you want to go.”

Elliot Cadeau prefers to keep his personal life private. Hence, there is nothing mentioned about his partner in the public domain. Elliot, who has built a strong empire with his business ventures and brand endorsements, maintains a private life and avoids talking about his family and romantic relationship in public.
