We love to catch a glimpse of these little tiny tots, and their birthday celebrations are our favourites. It was on June 1, 2016, when Tusshar Kapoor had gotten blessed with his baby boy, who he had lovingly named, Laksshya Kapoor. The actor had gone against all the societal norms and had taken the journey of fatherhood singlehandedly by welcoming his little jaan into the world via surrogacy. He had inspired many to take surrogacy as an option to bring a wonder into their lives. We are in awe of his parenting skills. However, it was not just Tusshar, whose life had changed because of Laksshay, it was his elder sister, Ekta Kapoor, who too had turned into a mother with the birth of their little bundle of happiness. Ekta has always treated Laksshay as his own son, and now as Laksshay turns 4, she thanks him for making her a mother.
As the little member of Kapoor family, Laksshay turns 4 today, his bua, Ekta Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share a video, wishing her first child on his Birthday. The video is a compilation of various videos and pictures of Laksshay with his bua, dadi, dadu, papa and little bhai, Ravie Ekta called him ‘the first one’ and thanked him for making her mommy first. Along with the video, Ekta wrote, “The one ! The first one ! Who made us ...US! Happie bday laqu! Thanku for being d one who made me mommy first! Ur my jaaaaaan ! In an interview with The Times of India, papa, Tusshar talked about his son’s birthday plans as it is going to be quarantine birthday for him, and also revealed his son’s birthday wish. He said, "It will only be us and the staff, who are like family. This is not the right time for a big celebration. Laksshya wants a blueberry cheesecake, but didn't mention that he wants to call everyone. At this age, kids are happy in their own space, with known faces around."
Once in an interview, Tusshar had talked about fatherhood journey, "I always wanted to be a father that was my first inspiration. It was something that came from within. Then, I met filmmaker Prakash Jha on the trip to Tirupati. On that car journey on my way back from Chennai, we spoke about this idea of becoming a single father and how it is possible. He enlightened me about the process. I took a few weeks, and thought about it. Introspected and made a firm decision to never turn back and fulfill my dream of being a single father." He had further stated, "It was entirely my decision. I started the process myself and then informed them about it. They were very supportive of it but it was not their push. It was just moral support, family support, emotional support, they were always there when I needed them. But it was entirely my part, my process, my decision and my journey."
