Ekta Kapoor is one of the most successful producers and directors of the Hindi film and television industry. For the unversed, she is the head of the production house, Balaji Telefilms. And from producing many popular shows like Naagin, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kumkum Bhagya, etc to films, including Kyo Kii... Main Juth Nahi Bolta, Krishna Cottage, The Dirty Picture, Veere Di Wedding, Dream Girl, Goodbye and others, Ekta has come a long way. Despite her list of achievements, Ekta is often trolled for her dressing sense at many public appearances.
On September 6, 2023, Ekta Kapoor was spotted attending the special screening of Ayushmann Khurrana's latest released film, Dream Girl 2. In a video which surfaced on the internet, Ekta was spotted wearing a bronze-hued metallic dress. She teamed her look with open tresses and glam makeup, including blushed and highlighted cheeks, defined brows, winged eyes and nude lipstick. She accessorised her look with black platform heels and a few bracelets.

However, Ekta was seen hiding from the paps while being clicked. At first, she was seen hiding behind the door of the venue, where the special screening was happening. Later, when popular actress, Krystle D'Souza was seen exiting the place, Ekta took her shelter to pose for the paps behind her.
This public stance of Ekta irked the netizens, and they trolled her brutally for her look of the day. While one netizen wrote, "Why to wear when you're not comfortable", another one commented, "Outfit AISA paino joh kisse ka picha chup saka."

Well, this wasn't the first time Ekta was trolled for her uncomfortable dressing sense. Earlier, on June 1, 2023, Ekta attended her nephew, Laksshya Kapoor’s birthday bash and was seen donning a loose-fitted printed shirt teamed with baggy black-coloured pants. She completed her look with black-hued sports shoes and open tresses. However, she was seen adjusting her clothes even while posing for the paps. As soon as the video was shared online, many netizens trolled the producer for donning uncomfortable clothes.
