Son of South superstar, Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan had successfully managed to step out of the shadow of his father's superstardom and despite being a star kid, he made an identity of his own. Dulquer broke out the powerful legacy created by his legendary father and with his charm, which can make any girl go weak in her knees, and versatility, he never thinks twice in experimenting with his roles. Making his Bollywood debut in 2018 with a light-hearted film, Karwaan opposite Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar followed by the film, The Zoya Factor in 2019 opposite Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, which was an adaption of Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel, Dulquer left an everlasting impression on his audience.
Not only is he riding high on the professional front, but Dulquer Salmaan is also making the most of his personal life with his wife, Amaal and their daughter, Maryam Ameerah Salmaan. Dulquer has always admitted that Amaal has been his constant and strongest pillar of support. Despite hailing from an influential and prominent family of the South film industry, Dulquer has always kept himself grounded and his wife and daughter too, are kept away from the limelight. But Dulquer leaves no chance to express his love and admiration for them on his social media handles and interviews. Dulquer and his baby girl, Maryam are the replicas of one another and a glimpse of the same, the doting daddy had given a few months ago. Sharing a picture with Maryam, Dulquer had written, "We even stand the same!!! PC: Ms Mamma."
To mark his daughter, Maryam Ameerah Salmaan's fourth birthday, Dulquer Salmaan recreated throwback childhood pictures of his baby girl and posted a then-and-now collage. Dulquer penned a heartfelt note for his little one, in which he revealed his favourite thing to do whenever he is away from her. His caption began with "We should make these pictures an annual thing. What say, Marie? My favourite thing to do whenever I am away, is to look at every single photo I have of yours from the time you were born. It's the only way papa can make it through the time he spends away from you. Of all those these always have a special place in my heart."
Wondering where does the time go as his baby girl, Maryam Ameerah Salmaan is four now and expressed how happy he is to see her happy and smiling even when it is another lockdown birthday for her, proud father, Dulquer Salmaan continued, "It's another lockdown birthday for you. And this time you had no friends over. Still, you were the happiest little girl. May Allah always ensure you’re happy and smiling just as you are. We your family could ask for nothing more. You're our joy and blessing. Our smiles and our laughter. Happy birthday my darling. 4 years old!! We know for a whole year you're going to wait for your next birthday. We hope you had the most special day boobootum. #mybabyturnsfour #wheredoestimego #heartbeat #heartmelt #ourentireworld #angelbaby #godsend #precious #princess."
Last year, when Maryam Ameerah Salmaan had turned three, Dulquer Salmaan had attempted to write a poem for his daughter. Sharing a super-adorable picture with Maryam, Dulquer had written, "Happiest birthday darling Marie. You’ve got every one of us acting your age while you insist, “I'm a big girl now!” Maybe you’re right. You’re fast growing up, speaking in full sentences now. 3 years old you’re a big girl now. Twirling in your princess dresses. Creating your own games now. Telling us stories, you’re a big girl now. Walking on your own. Running now. Learning how to jump, you’re a big girl now."
Asking his darling to slow and be that baby girl as they haven't had enough of her at that phase, Dulquer Salmaan had added, "Slow down darling Marie, be a baby still. Like the day we saw you for the first time. Held you and heard your cries for the first time. The day they thronged the hallways, to meet an angel for the first time. Be that baby girl still, we haven't had enough. Though forever more you’re our baby. Even when the world says, she’s a big girl now. Don’t rush, darling Marie, stay our baby girl still. #pappasattemptatapoem #youhavethateffectonus #happymaryamday #myangelbaby #cantbelieveit #youarethreeyearsold #loveyoutothemoonandback #ourbabygirl."
Here's wishing a very happy birthday to Maryam!
