Speaking about their relationship, the couple first sparked dating buzz in 2023 after they connected during the 2022 VMAs. In 2025, Dove and Damiano exchanged rings, and on September 24, 2026, they hopped onto their forever journey.
The newlyweds sealed the deal with a passionate kiss at their wedding ceremony at Montalcino town hall in Tuscany, Italy. Both the bride and the groom were suited up for the big event, and while Dove's suit featured a train, Damiano's suit came along with an olive scarf. The couple looked the happiest as they became each other's forever after a few years of dating.

The bride looked breathtaking at her wedding, and her nontraditional look for the day became the talk of the town. In the entertainment industry, the looks of actors and actresses are major topics of discussion among the fashion police, mainly the plastic surgery specualtions. While most of the celebrities feel that there's nothing wrong with someone wanting to look a certain way, people tend not to stop talking about it.
Each time a celebrity looks slightly different, be it for makeup, hairstyle, or weight gain or loss, the conversation about cosmetic surgery begins. Dove Cameron also had to listen to such speculations surrounding her. While some celebrities straightaway ignore all the buzz about them opting for surgeries, Dove Cameron has been very clear about how she feels about all such buzz about her appearance.
In an interview with Allure a few months back, Dove Cameron talked about the same. As her chiseled jawline has grabbed everyone's attention lately, people have started questioning whether it's the result of a particular surgery. Dove didn't particularly deny or confirm any of the speculation; however, when asked about her take on the topic, Dove revealed to Allure that when it comes to people talking about her looks, it used to affect her when she was younger.
However, Dove said that over time, she realized the conversation around her is made up by people who don't know her well, so it's just their idea of who she is and doesn't define who she actually is. According to Dove, just because she always wore sunglasses, people ended up thinking that she's mean. Dove doesn't actually think that it's her business what people are talking about her. Sharing more about how she feels, Dove stated:
"If we're talking purely about [commentary on my] looks, I could give a fuck. I do not participate in conjecture, and I do not accept conjecture on my behalf. It used to bother me when I was younger, feeling like anybody could say anything [about me] at any time. In general, it's not my business what people think and say [about me]."

Dove Cameron looked gorgeous as she slipped into a beautiful white suit at her wedding. Speaking to Allure a few months back, the actress said that she was not sure what she wanted to do, either a suit or a beautiful dress. Dove said that she authentically has both 'masculine-feminine energy'. She expressed her wish to wear something that feels inclusive of the fullness of who she actually is.
Dove never really thought of getting married, and thus she didn't plan things out earlier; however, she revealed that she felt like a 'baby' afterward. Speaking about her bridal dress choice, Dove stated:
"If it's my wedding day and we're both in suits, I'm going to look back and be like, “Well, f**k.” But if I go ultra-femme, I'm going to be like, “Well, f**k.” I truly do feel split down the middle energetically between a masculine-feminine energy. I always, always have. I have never fully integrated the two energies. I am authentically both of those things."
