We are talking about none other than, the very famous and a known face of Indian television fraternity, Ekta Tiwari. Yes, the same girl, who has been a significant part of famous shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Tere Mere Sapne and Crime Patrol amongst many others.
Well, the actress exchanged ring with her fellow actor, Sushant Kandya (who has worked in Bollywood movie Badlapur Boys) on June 14, 2017, which was an intimate affair. The two of them met during their stint in Crime Patrol and fell for each other.

Interesting, on the show they played victim and accused. She laughed and stated:
“That's how this life-long imprisonment happened."
She further added:
"We worked in eight episodes together. The connection happened in the first scene itself. It's not about how long your courtship is, but how well you gel."
Earlier when she was asked about the wedding plans, she was quoted, by an entertainment portal, as saying:
“About marriage, I can only say, if we don’t get married till January-February, we’ll again leave it to the destiny. It’ll happen when it is meant to happen.”
The lovebirds tied the knot on August 1, 2017 and their wedding was a complete surprise for the groom. Confused about what we mean to say? Well, on August 1, it was Ekta’s birthday and she surprised her long-time beau, Sushant by tying the knot with him. While talking to TOI, she said:
“It was a low-key affair and we got married at an Arya Samaj Mandir. I wanted our wedding anniversary to coincide with my birthday. In fact, Sushant wasn't even aware of the shaadi plan till I broke the news to him at midnight while cutting my birthday cake. We haven't had a long courtship, but we started staying together soon after we realised that we were made for each other."
What a hatke kind of wedding, no? On the wedding day, the actress wore a pink-colored lehenga teamed up with a beige-coloured dupatta, and she just nailed it. Not just that they had a hatke wedding, but their honeymoon was also a bit unique one. The actress herself revealed:
“I planned it as a surprise family outing, as Sushant was planning a trip to Goa for both of us on my birthday. I lied him that I have invited a few friends as well. I don't think anyone has had such a honeymoon yet.”
To let you all know, in 2012, Ekta got engaged to another actor named, Aashutosh Tiwari and they were about to tie the knot. But something went wrong between the two and they called off their engagement. Aashutosh then went on to marry a girl named Prerna, who has no ties with the industry.
