Well, we are talking about Vivek Dahiya who ringed in his 34th birthday yesterday, and his wife, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya wished him with a heartfelt message on Instagram. Divyanka shared the following beautiful couple picture and wrote, “@VivekDahiya, There's no feeling like staring endlessly into your eyes. Celebrating you. The mental poise that all seek for in a meditative state, that's the calmness I achieve with you. #Happy that you were born for me. #Happy is your #Birthday for me! Happy Birthday, Love! Wifey”.
For those who do not know, Divyanka and Vivek met on the sets of Star Plus’s popular serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and that’s when Cupid struck between the two. Talking about how love blossomed between the two, Vivek once shared in an interview, “It wasn’t love at first sight. It was an arranged match. We were introduced by a common friend who is also a fellow actor. Then we started looking at each other from a life partner’s perspective. We often met after work and eventually started understanding that we are very compatible and similar to each other and we can take it further”.
Both Vivek and Divyanka or Divek (as fans affectionately call them), reverently speak of each other all the time. Praising his wifey, Vivek once told a media portal, “She manages her personal and professional life really well. That she does it beautifully and effortlessly. Sometimes I have to look out for her so that she gives some time for herself to sleep. She can compromise on all those things to balance it out. In a recent interview, Divyanka shared how Vivek proposed her for marriage, and revealed, “We went to Bangalore and it was the first time Vivek was meeting my parents. Though we were aware of our feelings, I never thought that he will take a step further. My birthday falls on 14 December and my mother’s birthday falls on 13 December. So, after celebrating my mom’s birthday, we went out for dinner. I was expecting that after coming back home, I will get some surprise but, never expected something grand like this”.
And recounting the incidents further, she added, “When I entered my home, I witnessed the entire place was brightly decorated with light and flower petals. At the end of the passage, Vivek was standing with a t-shirt in his hand. The speciality about the t-shirt was, on one part it was written that ‘You are an answer to every questions’, while on the other it was written that ‘Divyanka marry me’. Moreover, the words he said I will never forget those. He stated that I have everything that one can gift, the only I don’t have is commitment and he was ready to present me with that. It is one of the unforgettable moments of my life. I was waiting for this day for my entire life”.
On the professional front, Divyanka is currently doing the TV serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein in which she plays the role of Ishita Bhalla. And her next project is a web series titled, Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala in which she will be playing a chef, and would be seen romancing Rajeev Khandelwal.
