Famous Indian television actress, Disha Vakani aka Dayaben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah got married on November 24, 2015, as per the shubh muhurat (auspicious time), which was 11 AM. The actress tied the knot with a Mumbai-based chartered accountant, Mayur, as per Gujarati traditions.

The 37-year-old actress was dressed in a traditional Gujarati attire teamed up with heavy kundan jewellery. The groom complemented her pretty well in a beige sherwani and a red safa.
As per a report by Dainik Bhaskar, it was a low-key affair with only family members and a few close friends of the couple in attendance. The same report says that her producer from the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Modi, was also present at the event.

And, Asit was quoted by the same report as saying:
“Disha’s wedding was an emotional affair. We used to discuss her wedding from quite some time and finally that day has arrived. The guy is a chartered accountant and is a very simple person. It was really nice to see Disha as a bride. She plays the role of a married woman in the show, but she got married in real today, and I am very happy about it. My blessing will be with the couple always.”
Reportedly, the couple will have a reception party on November 26 in which the actress will invite all her friends from the telly world as well.
