Bigg Boss 12 came to an end yesterday on December 30, 2018, and gave us a very well-deserved winner this time as well and it was Sasural Simar Ka fame actress, Dipika Kakar. After fighting out hard and jumping through all the obstacles, Dipika was the one this season who bagged the trophy. The top five finalists of Bigg Boss 12 apart from Dipika were Sreesanth, Deepak Thakur, Karanveer Bora and Romil Chaudhary. Dipika has a huge fan following of 1 million on Instagram and with such commendable performance on the reality show, she had garnered more love.
In an interview with a famous online portal, SpotboyE, right after holding the trophy in her hand, Dipika shared her happiness on her victory and also spilled the beans on her game plan. When she was asked if she was upset as Sreesanth lost the show, Dipika stated, “Of course, I am a little upset that he didn't win the show. She further added, “And I am grateful to each and everyone who voted for me and made me the winner of Bigg Boss 12. I am very happy and proud that Sreesanth and I were the top 2 contestants. So, the moment that was announced, we knew that someone between the two of us will win”.
Dipika has won 30 Lakhs as the winning amount and do you know what she would do with the prize money? Well, the sanskari and agyakari on-screen bahu is the same in real life as well. Dipika shares a very warm bond with her mom-in-law and Shoaib’s mother. When she was questioned as to what she would do with the winning amount, Dipika shared that she will buy her mother-in-law a house and she is going to start hunting for the same. Here’s what the actress said, “I am going to buy a house for my Ammi (Shoaib's mother). House-hunting is the first thing on my agenda”. This is so sweet of her, no?
On being further asked if Sreesanth’s statement that she is a Colors’ face and hence she might win the show, Dipika retorted, “Even if he didn’t say that people would still think that I have won because I am channel’s favourite as I have done a successful show Sasural Simar Ka with them. But I want to concentrate on the people who have voted for me to win the game rather than those who are criticising me. But I want to thank them as well because you only shine brighter when someone criticizes you”.
Dipika also gave a kickass reply to Shilpa Shinde, last season’s winner, who is not happy with her win. Dipika remarked, “I have no clue why she is upset with me. I did get to know about this a few minutes back while talking to people. Maybe she has her own reasons. She may have not liked my journey. Further revealing if staying in the kitchen was her strategy to win the show just like Shilpa, Dipika stated, “Not at all. In my day to day life also I love to cook food and feed others. That's what I did inside the house too. And those who feel that it was my strategy to win, I want to tell them come in the kitchen and cook three time meal for 15 people and you will come to know. You can show off for a week or 2 but you can't do it for long if you are not doing it from your heart. But when people inside the house also made acquisitions on me and took me off the kitchen duty, I cleaned toilets and garden area for 2 weeks too. On Srishty Rode and Romil Chaudhary’s “Saiyaan-Bhaiya” comment during one of the tasks, Dipika seemed to be adamant on not forgiving them. The Bigg Boss winner remarked, “It's not about forgiving. I don't think it was good. I feel extremely hurt when people come and discuss my personal life. I have to just let it go. But it's not that I have forgotten it”.
