Television’s favourite bahu, Dipika Kakar had never thought that her life would change for the best on the sets of her show, Sasural Simar Ka. Not just she attained huge popularity with the show, but also met her soulmate during the same. It was on the sets of SSK, when Dipika Kakar had met the love of her life, Shoaib Ibrahim. After striking a cordial bond, the two had fallen head-over-heels in love with one another and took their relationship to the next level by tying the knot on February 22, 2018.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are acing their marriage and the duo never skips a chance to share glimpses of their marital life. Be it birthdays, anniversaries or other milestones of their life, the whole Ibrahim family comes together to celebrate. On March 14, 2021, Shoaib had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture with Dipika. The romantic picture showed their love for each other as Shoaib had gifted her a rose. Along with the picture, Shoaib had revealed why the day was special for him and had written, "Aaj inse pehli mulaqaat hui thi, Phir aamne saamne baat hui thi. This was the day when @ms.dipika and I met for the very first time for the audition for #SasuralSimarKa in 2011."
On May 14, 2021, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr at their revamped home with Shoaib’s family and Dipika shared her favourite picture from the celebrations. Dipika took to her IG handle and shared a love-filled picture with her shauhar, Shoaib. In the picture, the two were seen holding hands while striking a romantic pose. Along with the picture, Dipika wrote, “My fav one from tonight!!” On the other hand, Shoaib shared adorable pictures with his family from their Eid celebrations.
Last year, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim had celebrated Eid on May 25, 2020, with his parents and sister at their Mumbai residence. Dipika and Shoaib had twinned in black for the celebrations and had looked mesmerising. Dipika had repeated her black ethnic outfit, which she had earlier worn on her first anniversary celebration but with a twist. Using her creativity to its best, Dipika had given her dupatta a beautiful enhancement using some threadwork and had added a golden border. Shoaib had complemented her well in a black and golden-work traditional kurta.

Shoaib Ibrahim is quite active on social media and often treats his fans with glimpses of his family life. On January 1, 2021, Shoaib had taken to his IG stories and had hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session with his fans. When one of his fans had showed his interest in marrying his wife, Dipika and had told him, “Ask Dipika to marry me”, Shoaib’s reply had won our hearts. Being his savage self, Shoaib had written, “Bhai is janam mein to meri ho chuki hai…agar next birth hota hai toh kuch achche karam karna tab Dipika jaisi inshallah koi mil jaayegi kyuki Dipika to tab bhi meri hi hogi.” Shoaib’s reply had proved how a doting husband he is!
