The Sasural Simar Ka fame, Dipika Kakar, is currently making headlines due to her struggling health issues. Earlier, in February 2026, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that Dipika got another cyst of 13 mm for which she needs to undergo surgery. After the surgery, she came back home and opened up about the entire medical procedure. Currently, Dipika is in her recovery phase. In a new vlog, the Bigg Boss 12 winner spoke about her physical and mental health.

Dipika Kakar shares a detailed health update post 13 mm cyst removal surgery

In her latest vlog, Dipika shared a detailed update on her physical and mental health. She mentioned that there were days when she got tired, and the fatigue was so much that she couldn’t even move. She highlighted that when she was not in the right zone mentally, she couldn’t do anything. She added that until and unless a person is happy mentally, they cannot fight. She was quoted as saying:

"I know it’s important to rest. The days when I get tired, the fatigue is so much that I cannot even move. The days when I am not in the right zone mentally, I just cannot do anything. On the days I am fine, I like to do things that make me happy. Unless you are happy mentally, you won’t be able to fight."

Dipika Kakar experienced severe pain in her stomach and was hospitalised

In a February 2026 vlog, Shoaib revealed that Dipika had been experiencing mild pain in her stomach and had visited the hospital. However, the pain got severe on the night of February 20, 2026. So, they visited the hospital and got a CT scan done. The result of the CT scan pointed out that the TV actress had another cyst of 13 mm. Along with the stomach pain, Dipika also experienced shoulder pain.

Dipika Kakar got emotional as she was hospitalised a day after her 8th marriage anniversary

The day before Dipika was admitted to the hospital, she had her 8th marriage anniversary. In a vlog, the TV actress shared that she and her husband, Shoaib, were planning for something special, but due to her severe pain, the plan was cancelled. She added that in the near future, she would be on immunotherapy and her targeted therapy would stop. She was quoted as saying:

"Going ahead, I will be on immunotherapy, and targeted therapy will stop. I am looking for courage; this is life, you never know what happens. Sunday was our anniversary. I had thought I would do something nice for Shoaib; we were planning to go out, but that’s not possible now, since the pain that aggravates is severe. I always say this, not just an illness like cancer, but any other illness, dealing with and living with it is very challenging."

When Dipika Kakar underwent a 14-hour-long surgery to remove her liver tumour

On June 4, 2025, Dipika’s husband, Shoaib, took to his Instagram handle and shared an update about her health. In a note, Shoaib revealed that Dipika underwent a 14-hour-long surgery to remove her liver tumour. He mentioned that the actress was put in the ICU and was experiencing some pain. He wrote:

"Hi everyone, sorry I couldn't update you last night, it was a long surgery. She was in OT for 14 hrs. But Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Dipi is currently in the ICU. She's in some pain, but she's stable and doing okay. Thank you all dil se for your love, prayers, and support it truly means a lot. I will update you all once she's out of the ICU. Thank you once again. Keep praying for her."
