Dipika Kakar's FIL Suffers Brain Hemorrhage, Shoaib Shares New Update On Health, 'Better Nahi Hai..'

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the adorable couples in the Hindi TV industry. Currently, the duo and their family have been going through a lot of time. For the unversed, on May 23, 2026, Shoaib took to his Instagram Stories to share that his father had again had a stroke. He has been admitted to the ICU. A while back, Shoaib shared an update on his father’s health in his YouTube vlog. He revealed that this time his father suffered a brain hemorrhage.

Shoaib Ibrahim reveals his father has suffered a brain hemorrhage

A while back, Shoaib, in his YouTube vlog, shared a detailed update on his father’s current health. He mentioned that his father’s condition is not that well. Last time when his father suffered a stroke, due to a blood clot, the left side of his body was paralysed. But that time Shoaib’s father could speake and he also recovered fast from it. However, this time the condition is a bit serious as he suffered a brain hemorrhage. Due to this, Shoaib’s father is having issues with his speech and also having issues with the right side of his body. He was quoted as saying:

"Itni better nahi hai papa ki condition. Kyunki last time jab papa ko stroke tha, like clot hogaya tha. Papa ke left side paralyse ho gaya tha. But papa us time baat kar rahe the, and woh bohot jaldi recover bhi ho gaye the. But iss baar thoda sa bleeding ho gayi hai unko abhi speech mein issues hai. Unke body ke right side mein issue hai, like I think jaise mein unhe dekh pa raha hoon ya samajh pa raha hoon unke vision mein problem hai. Ek cheez acchi hai unke BP abhi under control hai."

Shoaib stated that doctors are saying that senses get drowsy when bleeding happens. He mentioned that his father is not reacting at all. However, doctors will perform an endoscopy, and the blood inside will be removed. Due to Shoaib’s father’s regular medications, doctors cannot process fast. Shoaib said:

"Doctors ka yeh kehna hai ki aise hota hai jab bleeding ho jati hai toh senses thode se drowsy. Papa react nahi kar rahe hai bilkul. Doctors saying ki woh endoscopy karenge, skull mein hole karenge, blood jo jama hua hai woh nikalenge ta ki woh auer na pehle. Abhi ek do din wait karenge aur uske baad process karenge. Papa ke regular medication mein woh blood thinner bhi le rahe the, so process zaldi nahi kar sakte doctors."

Shoaib Ibrahim requests fans to pray for his father's speedy recovery

In the same vlog, Shoaib shared that he is not letting his mom and sister visit his dad, as his poor condition will make them sad and tense. He is still in the ICU. Shoaib requested his fans to pray for his father’s speedy recovery. Earlier, on May 23, 2026, Shoaib took to his Instagram handle to share about his father being admitted to the hospital. He wrote:

"Need all your prayers & duas for Papa. Papa again had a stroke this morning and has been admitted to the ICU. Please, please keep him in your prayers. Next 24hrs are crucial."

Back in 2021, Shoaib’s father suffered a brain stroke. On July 25, 2021, Shoaib shared that his father was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke. Urging fans to pray for his speedy recovery, Shoaib wrote, "Need your prayers & strength once again!! Papa had a brain stroke this morning and is in the ICU presently!! Please, please aap sab dua kijiyega ki Allah unhe theek kar dein."
