The mythological drama, Adipurush directed by famous filmmaker, Om Raut is currently receiving a lot of backlash from the audiences. Despite reworking on the film's VFX, Om Raut’s film featuring Prabhas as Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon as Mata Sita has failed to impress viewers. From cringe dialogues to Raavan and his warriors being portrayed as villains of a Hollywood film, the list of the faults in the film is endless.
Amidst all the criticism that Adipursh is receiving, a video shared by veteran actress, Dipika Chikhlia recreating her famous look as Maa Sita from Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan has taken the internet by storm. On June 19, 2023, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and posted a priceless video in which she can be spotted wearing the iconic orange-hued saree that she wore in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan.

The video brought back all the wonderful memories of the time when the iconic show used to telecast on television sets and how the streets used to be empty during its telecast across the nation. Along with the video, Dipika Chikhlia also penned a heartfelt note in the caption in which she revealed how a lot of her followers requested her to create a reel on the famous song, Ram Siya Ram, from the film, Adipurush. The caption in the video can be read as:
"This post is on public demand … I am grateful for the love I have always received for the role I played … Me … as sitaji …could not have asked for more."
