They are one of the cutest on-screen and off-screen jodis of telly town. We are talking about Sasural Simar Ka’s Prem and Simar aka Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim. It was few days ago only when we shared how beautifully Shoaib proposed his ladylove Dipika on Nach Baliye 8.

Dipika and Shoaib’s love story is total filmy. Shoaib proposed and Dipika accepted it and the couple got engaged. In a candid interview, the couple shared their wedding plans, the proposal and a lot more about their love story. Take a look at the excerpts from the interview!
Talking about their Nach Baliye journey, Dipika said:
“It's been fun till now. We have done so many things which we never expected to do. I have lifted him, I never imagined I would do that (laughs).”
Shoaib added:
“She has lifted me in just one episode. I have lifted her so many times.”

Shoaib thinks his fiancé, Dipika is a better dancer between the two. But, Dipika doesn’t agree with him. She said:
“No, I don't think so. Many people will agree with me when I say that when he performs, no one can take their eyes off of him.”
Shoaib proposed marriage to Dipika on national television. Here is what Dipika has to say about it:
“It will not be possible for me to express what I felt that time. He proposed to me after our performance. It was a very emotional moment for us. He was emotional, I was emotional.”
Shoaib added:
“Basically the act was pyaar ki kahani. Every couple was asked to tell their love story through dance. And I felt I will not have a better way to end all her complaints. She always used to complain that I have not proposed to her officially. So I thought it's the perfect timing and moment, so I did it.”
The blushing Dipika further added:
“Yes, I am very proud of myself. Finally my demand has been fulfilled. He used to always say, ‘Surprises don't work for me. So whenever you want anything just tell me.”

Teasing his better-half, Shoaib said:
“Fas bhi gaya hu main, I have proposed to her on national television. There is no way to escape. I have to take care of her for the rest of our lives now.”
So, when are they getting married? Talking about their wedding plans, Shoaib said:
“I haven't planned anything yet. But yes, she keeps planning things. The wedding will happen in December 2017 or the beginning of 2018. The details and the date are not decided yet.”
Agreeing to what Shoaib says, Dipika said:
“Actually that's my department. We ladies are planning. The wedding will take place either in Bhopal or Mumbai. We have not finalised anything but the planning has started.”

Talking further about their dream wedding, Dipika said:
“I have got my dream man. I don't want anything more now.”
And, Shoaib added:
“She is really different. Not at all demanding, I must say. If I had given her a ring made of paper, she would have still been happy. Emotions are more important for her.”
