We don’t think any year-end would have witnessed as many weddings as the year 2018! Almost half of the residents of the glamour world got hitched to their respective partners in the last month of the year and will enter the new year with someone by their side. From Sonam Kapoor- Anand Ahuja, Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla, Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi and then spreading on to the last quarter of the year, where Prince Narula-Yuvika Chaudhary, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Priyanka-Chopra-Nick Jonas, Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath, Parul Chauhan-Chirag Thakkar, Aditi Gupta-Kabir Chopra and renowned producer to Dinesh Vijan and Pranita Tanwar said ‘I do’ to each other. On December 13, 2018, producer of big-budget Bollywood films like Stree, Cocktail, eneterd the bond of holy matrimony with his longtime sweetheart, Pranita Tanwar. Pranita is a Dubai-based real estate agent and you take a very glance at the couple and you will surely swoon over their good looks! On their wedding day, Dinesh sported a blue sherwani, while the bride glowed in her blush pink lehenga. Shutterbugs captured the couple as they posed for them. And yesterday (December 14, 2018), Dinesh and Pranita hosted a big fat Bollywood wedding bash for their friends from the tinsel town and looked a million bucks. Dinesh kept it totally gentleman-like in a black tuxedo, blue velvet waistcoat and a black bow-tie, whereas his wife, Pranita shimmered in a silver and white boat neck lehenga, minimal diamond jewellery and make-up. And yet again, the world saw an amalgamation of all the big stars from the tinsel down who attended the couple’s star-studded bash. Aren’t they amazing? Do you know, Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan are great friends? He had even produced Saif-starrer, Being Cyrus. Recalling his first-ever interaction with Saif, he had shared, “Saif and I got along like a house on fire. He is unassuming and is one of the most entertaining human beings. The idea of making films just happened. We had to come with a name. Saif came up with Illuminati and Lucifer. I preferred Illuminati.”
Being a producer of a film, means you have to mainly remain behind-the-scene. Though a prouducer has their own perks, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. Speaking about the same in an interview with TOI, Dinesh was quoted as saying, “I am happy the ball is hitting the bat by itself right now. But there have been times when we had to put in a lot of effort to get the right hit. But, your failures teach you. ‘Agent Vinod’ taught me how to make ‘Stree’, it taught me how to make ‘Badlapur’. At the same time, with every hit movie the expectation from the next one rises and in order to meet the same, the job gets more difficult.”
