After Shahid Kapoor’s secret wedding ceremony, the country is going to witness another star-studded wedding celebration of Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik and Indian squash player Dipika Pallikal. The couple who has done quite well in keeping their relationship a low-key affair, have finally decided to tie the knot. The couple who got engaged in 2013 will finally become Mr. and Mrs. This sporty couple is tying the knot today, i.e August 18, 2015, in Chennai amid close family and friends from the industry. The lovebirds have decided to tie the knot, according to two traditions- a Christian wedding (August 18, 2015), followed by a Hindu style Telugu wedding (August 20, 2015).
Their families are too excited for the fun surrounding ceremonies of both the traditions. Last weekend, Dipika held a themed-bachelorette party to which only her 15 closest gal pals were invited, including her Australian coach, Sarah Firz-Gerald. We hear that the couple have decided to keep their wedding ceremonies a private affair. Dipika’s father, Sanjiv Pallikal, revealed to a leading daily about how the families had been going ahead with the wedding preparations. He had said, “The Christian wedding will be held on August 18 and the Hindu wedding, in Telugu Naidu style, will take place on August 20. Both the wedding ceremonies will be held in Chennai. They are going to be private affairs. Dinesh's parents and our family are currently discussing the other pre-wedding ceremonies.”

Indian squash ace Dipika Pallikal, had a mehendi ceremony at her place that was attended by all her friends and colleagues. The beautiful bride would go for a beautiful white gown for the Christian wedding which she bought especially from U.S, and a traditional yellow saree for the Hindu style Telugu wedding.

News corridors hint that the weddings might take place at a five-star hotel in Chennai.
This would be cricketer Dinesh Karthik's second marriage. He was earlier married to childhood sweetheart Nikita. After their divorce, Nikita married another Indian cricketer Murali Vijay, and together they also have a son.
