As the family was trying hard to cope up with the loss of Dilip Kumar's younger brother, Aslam Khan's demise, the news of another younger brother, Ehsan Khan has numbed them all. On September 3, 2020, legendary actor, Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle that is managed by his wife, and social media team informed everyone with a heartbreaking tweet that Dilip Kumar's youngest brother, Ehsan Khan has passed away. The tweet can be read as "Dilip Saab's youngest brother Ehsan Khan, passed away a few hours ago. Earlier, the youngest brother, Aslam had passed away. We are from God, and to Him, we return. Pls, pray for them." Soon after this, popular news agency, ANI tweeted the reason behind Ehsan Khan's demise and wrote in their tweet, "Ehsan Khan, younger brother of veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away at 11 pm yesterday. He had tested positive for #COVID19 and had heart disease, hypertension and Alzheimer: Lilavati hospital, Mumbai." Take a look.
For the uninitiated, on August 15, 2020, Dilip Kumar's younger brothers, Ehsan Khan and Aslam Khan were showing signs of being COVID-19 positive. Soon after their reports had come positive, the two were admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. Both Ehsan and Aslam were transferred on the artificial breathing immediately. While the elder brother, Ehsaan was showing signs of recovery, it was the younger one, Aslam, who had passed away early in the morning on August 21, 2020. The heartbreaking news was confirmed by ANI in their tweet, and it could be read as "Aslam Khan, younger brother of veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away early morning today. He had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease and had tested positive for #COVID19." But now after the demise of Ehsan Khan, the family is heartbroken, and no words can express the pain they're in at the moment. However, the family was always aware of the dangerous COVID-19 and time and again had urged people to stay in their homes. A similar tweet was posted by Dilip Kumar's wife, Saira Banu on his Twitter handle on April 1, 2020, in which she had written some words of pure wisdom that could be read as "I urge you to #StayHomeSaveLives during this #COVID19 pandemic Dawa bhi, dua bhi Auron se faslaa bhi Ghareeb ki khidmat Kamzor ki seva bhi." Talking about the health of Dilip sahab, his doting wife, Saira Banu had taken to her husband's Twitter handle and had shared an audio message giving an important update about his heath to all of his fans. In the audio message, Saira Banu could be heard saying, "I'm so happy to tell all of you that Dilip sahab is a lot better. He had severe backache, and we had to go and check it out at Lilavati hospital. We checked it out and came back home. Everything is fine now with God's grace and your best wishes.
