Did Justin Bieber Play Cupid For Kendall Jenner, Jacob Elordi? Sources Reveal Why They Hid Romance

Euphoria star, Jacob Elordi and model, Kendall Jenner, have been hogging the spotlight for the past few weeks. Even with speculation about their relationship intensifying, the duo have kept their mum and not confirmed anything publicly. Now, with many wondering how Jacob and Kendall allegedly got together in the first place, sources have revealed that it might have something to do with the Yummy singer, Justin Bieber.

Even though Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner made efforts to keep their relationship low-key, it might as well be the worst-kept secret in Hollywood, sources revealed to Page Six. They further added that pop star, Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, had had a hand in bringing both Kendall and Jacob together in the first place. For those unaware, Kendall and Jacob were first seen making out at Justin's Coachella afterparty in April 2026. Soon after, gossip account, DeuxMoi released a clip of them smooching, and since then, the new couple have done their best to avoid being caught on camera.

However, with the paparazzi already on their case and the growing public interest in Kendall and Jacob's relationship, they were once again photographed in an SUV in Los Angeles on May 16, 2026. Jacob, who was behind the wheel, and Kendall both tried to shield their faces, but to no avail. It seemed that the duo were out on a double date with the model's sister, Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet, who were seen at the back of the car. 

According to sources, following her previous high-profile relationships with Bad Bunny and Devin Booker, Kendall wanted to keep her relationship with Jacob out of the public eye for as long as possible, rather than doing a hard launch. They claimed that this time, Kendall is trying to have a real relationship. The source was quoted as saying:

“She knows the more public the relationship, the more complicated it becomes. She's trying to have a real relationship versus something that is a public spectacle. She wants it to be between her and her guy first — rather than her, Jacob, and the public.” 

Another source told the publication that while Kendall Jenner was “super chill, super to herself and laid back” at Justin Bieber's Coachella afterparty, Kendall could not help but fall for Jacob's charms. Although the source was unable to reveal which of them made the first move. Another insider jokingly said, “As long as he's not like his character in Euphoria, I'm happy for her,” referring to the angry and psychotic jock that Jacob Elordi plays in the hit HBO series.

Recently, a different source close to Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner opened up about their relationship and claimed that the former is down-to-earth and pretty easygoing. According to them, Jacob and Kendall are not in much of a hurry to put a label on their relationship as of now. Despite this, neither of them is seeing anyone else, underscoring how seriously they take their bond. The source stated: 

“Kendall and Jacob are not rushing to label anything or call each other boyfriend/girlfriend yet, but neither of them is seeing anybody else.”

In May 2026, Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi were seen together on a tropical getaway to Hawaii. Photos from their vacation made the rounds online, prompting sources to come forward and reveal that their bond had grown stronger since the getaway. In addition to Hawaii, Kendall and Jacob were also spotted enjoying a late-night meal in Montecito. According to eyewitnesses present there, Kendall had her arms wrapped around the Kissing Booth actor and was playfully playing with his hair.
