Amid that, some of the fan theories are making rounds on social media, which claim that the martial artist suffered a heart attack. If the theories are to be believed, Chuck Norris suffered a myocardial infarction in 2017, due to which he was hospitalised.

Reportedly, in 2017, a few reports had claimed that the actor suffered a myocardial  infarction; however, they seem to be false claims as no big media outlet reported the incident. It is also worth mentioning that over the years, neither Chuck Norris nor his family members have ever mentioned anything related to any illness or a heart attack. Hours ago, when Chuck’s family broke the news regarding his death, the family did not reveal the real reason behind his tragic demise.

On March 20, 2026, Chuck Norris’ family took to the actor’s Instagram handle to share a photo of the Walker, Texas Ranger actor. Along with it, his family penned a heartfelt note, revealing Chuck’s death. Along with it, the family also described him as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and an amazing brother. A part of their heartbreaking note can be read as:

"While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends. We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way. As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time. Thank you for loving him with us. With love, The Norris Family."

Chuck Norris’ last Instagram post

For those who do not know, Chuck Norris passed away ten days after his 86th birthday. Amid that, his last Instagram post is going viral, which was shared on his birthday. On March 11, 2026, to celebrate the day, Chuck took his Instagram handle to share a video of him practicing Judo. In the caption, he revealed that he is grateful for a new year with good health. He also expressed his wish to continue doing what he loves the most. The caption can be read as:

"I don’t age. I level up. I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know. God Bless, Chuck Norris."
