The English singer, Adele is undoubtedly one of the best in the music industry. She is one such celebrity who rules the hearts of ordinary people and some of the eminent personalities from the entertainment industry. The 35-year-old singer left her fans surprised when she revealed her relationship status during one of her concerts.
Adele was performing at a concert in Las Vegas and, as per her usual self, was going around, playfully interacting with the audience and conducting impromptu interviews. Suddenly, an audience member asked her if Adele could marry her. The singer turned down the fans’ proposal in a hilarious manner. Adele said that she is straight and even her ‘husband’ is present at the concert. She said:
"You can't marry me. I'm straight, my love, and my husband's here tonight.”

That particular fan further asked her if she could at least try, and the Easy On Me singer jokingly asked the woman to leave her alone. Adele said:
"No, I don't want to try! I'm with Rich. You're crazy, leave me alone."

This funny banter between the singer, Adele and a member of the audience led to the speculations that the Rolling In The Deep singer has gotten married to her boyfriend, Rich Paul. For the unversed, Adele has been in a relationship with sports agent, Rich Paul since 2021. Adele and Rich made their first public appearance back in July 2021 at an NBA basketball game. There have been ongoing rumours about Adele and Rich getting married or already being married, dating back to early 2022. In February of that year, Adele fuelled engagement rumours when she appeared at the Brit Awards with a stunning diamond ring on her finger. However, during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she playfully dodged questions about her relationship status when asked. She said:
"As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't.”

The 35-year-old singer, Adele, was previously married to the CEO of Drop4Drop charitable organisation, Simon Konecki. The duo started dating in 2011 and welcomed their son, Angelo, in 2012. There were reports that they got married in early 2017, but no exact date has ever been confirmed. However, their relationship didn't work out, and in April 2019, it was announced that the couple had split. Adele expressed her deep sadness over it.
But after her divorce was finalised in 2021, she started seeing Rich Paul and even called him ‘incredible, openhearted, and easiest’ in a Rolling Stone interview. Adele spoke highly of Rich and felt comfortable introducing him to her son. At the same time, it is possible that the comment ‘my husband’ made by Adele during a show was meant to be a joke.
