Dianna Russini once spoke about a certain behaviour of her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, that irked her. During an interview, broadcasted by Draftkings Network, she said that Kevin's demeanour completely changes when his favourite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, loses a game. Expressing annoyance, Dianna revealed that at that time, Kevin usually spoke just two words to her, which made her feel ignored. She didn't want the kind of family where a mere game of sport determined the members' tone and the household's mood. The former NFL reporter said she didn't want that kind of life for her kids.

Dianna wanted her husband's behaviour to change for a happier family life. According to her, his behaviour was childish and wasn't responsible enough for a father. She called the behaviour "so stupid" and alleged nobody cares if an NFL team won or lost a match. According to Dianna, that should not affect their family life. Her exact words were:

"My husband said [just] two words to me. He's an Eagles fan. And I'm like this can't be a thing. I don't wanna be in the household that is shaped by the result of a football game. Like a) grow up b) you're a father. I don't want our children to have a culture where they [say] 'Mommy and daddy's tone in this house is based on the result of the Eagles.' Who cares? So stupid!"

Fans who came across the viral resurfaced clip of Dianna Russini were extremely angry with her, as evidenced by their comments on the post. One of the X (formerly Twitter) users called Kevin "Poor dude" and wrote, "Imagine your wife complaining about you being a fan on a podcast where the demographic is literally NFL fans and her whole job is reporting news to NFL fans. And she is pushing narratives because she's trying to help the guy that she is having an affair with. How sick." Another wrote, "No mommy and daddy's tone is decided by mommy screwing other men."
