Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel's story keeps on giving; it seems like sports fans have found a bottomless pit of controversy, and at its head is the infamous duo. The head coach and NFL reporter have been in the headlines since their cosy pictures were leaked earlier in April 2026. Now, almost two months later, NFL writer Crissy Froyd has made some revelations that have further complicated matters, to say the least.
Former USA TODAY Sports reporter, Crissy Froyd, has not been mincing her words when it comes to Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's controversy, and now, in a shocking turn, she has made another explosive claim about the NFL media landscape. The NFL writer has alleged that, apart from Dianna, other female reporters have been doing similar things.

It was during The Howard Eskin Show that Crissy was asked how many female reporters have "done similar things" to what Dianna has been alleged to have done, and if she could name them. To this she responded by saying:
"See, that's the thing. My biggest thing with this is that people have asked me to do that, and I think I've already implied in hypotheticals some things that you should really look into. To avoid any legal dispute, I can't say any more than that. One of them starts with a J. I won't go any further than that, but just to give you a bit of a tidbit."

Crissy Froyd has said that there is a "culture of corruption" around the NFL where some reporters trade "sex for stories." During the interview with The Howard Eskin Show, she made other bombshell accusations, including that Dianna Russini was involved with "multiple head coaches" in addition to Mike Vrabel. For the unversed, when Howard asked her whether other NFL personnel were involved as well, she replied, "Yes."

The revelation came following Howard Eskin, asking Crissy Froyd about how many female reporters have been having an affair with the NFL staff. The controversy over the involvement of supposedly unbiased reporters with the team's staff has sparked a wave of mistrust among fans. Amid that, Crissy's revelation has come as a major blow. Responding to Howard's question on The Howard Eskin Show, she responded by saying:

"There are at least six that I know of."
The revelation comes days after Crissy Froyd's article for The Daily Mail, in which she claimed that multiple female reporters had privately shared stories of relationships with NFL employees while covering teams. She called it "unfair and demoralising" for the journalists who do things the right way. Crissy reflected on the alleged intimate relationships these reports are being said to have had and was quoted as saying:
"I've also been told by at least half a dozen female reporters that they have had sex with NFL staff and, in one case, a prominent NFL head coach, while they were covering the team."

However, while Crissy Froyd's statement has come as a shock, it is also worth noting that the former USA TODAY reporter has not provided any evidence to support her claims; these are just allegations at this point. For the unversed, it has been over a month since Crissy lost her job following a social media post targeting Dianna Russini. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped her from speaking out about what she believes is a larger issue involving relationships between NFL reporters and league personnel.
