Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza and her businessman husband, Vaibhav Rekhi's lives have changed for the better since they had welcomed their son, Avyaan Azad Rekhi, into their lives. The madly in love couple had welcomed their first child on May 14, 2021.
To announce her first pregnancy at the age of 39, Dia Mirza had shared a throwback picture from her Maldives vacation on her IG handle, clicked by her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi. Dia had flaunted her baby bump in the sunset picture, and to announce the good news, she had written:

On January 28, 2022, Dia Mirza took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartmelting note in which she opened up about her experience of embracing motherhood. The actress revealed the emotions she had experienced after giving birth to her son, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi and also thanked him for choosing her to be his mother, despite all the complications they had faced during the pregnancy. The doting mother also shared some beautiful pictures from the time when she was 4-months-pregnant that were clicked by her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi. She penned:
"Becoming a mother is the best gift nature gave me. Every moment has been filled with light and joy! From the time i first discovered i was pregnant, to every single moment since… natures force has revealed itself to me in the most magical ways. And no, it wasn't easy going through the trauma of a extremely premature delivery and subsequent complications. But, the faith that you chose me Avyaan Azaad to be your mother was unshakable even when we went through our challenges. Thank you for choosing me my precious. Thank you for holding on so strong. On January 15, 2022, Dia Mirza had taken to her IG handle and had shared a cute video of her son, Avyaan Azad Rekhi, where he could be seen playing with clouds and stars in his play gym. Everyone is aware of the fact that Dia is a very eco-friendly person, and a glimpse of it was visible in the video. The doting mother had kept in mind sustainability and eco-friendly natural products. Sharing the video, the actress had penned a beautiful note in the caption with a lot of emoticons. It could be read as:
