'Dhurandhar: 2', Yalina's Role Is Said To Be Inspired From A Politician's Daughter, Did She Remarry?

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Aditya Dhar's movie, has been grabbing attention lately. If the reports are to be believed, in just three days, the movie amassed Rs. 113 crore net, while the worldwide gross has been estimated to be more than Rs. 500 crore, making it one of the biggest Indian movies. Aditya Dhar's spy thriller, Dhurandhar, was released on December 5, 2025, while the second part was dropped on March 19, 2026.

The movie has been leaving people in awe with every aspect, be it plot, acting, direction, music, action, sequence and whatnot. People have been wondering if the movie was based on real events, and even several legal issues were raised initially, but later, CFBC cleared the film for release, stating that it was a fictional movie. Aditya Dhar shared that it was not a biopic, but was influenced by real-life events. While it's still under the fog whether 'Hamza Ali Mazari' was somone real, now a detail about another role, 'Yalina' is out.

Who is the alleged real-life inspiration behind Dhurandhar's lead, 'Yalina'?

It cannot be confirmed whether it's true or not, but reports have been claiming that there could be possibilities that 'Yalina's role was inspired by someone named Maheen Gabol. Maheen, the daughter of Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol, was reportedly involved with one of the gang members of Uzair Baloch. Reports claimed that after Nabil Gabol got to know about the same, he sent his daughter to Kuwait.

Nabil is affiliated with the Pakistan People's Party, and he has served multiple terms in the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2024. Nabil was also a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. Well, Maheen, interestingly, got married on December 5, 2025, to Maula Bux Soomro, the grandson of the late Ellahi Bux Soomro. It cannot be confirmed whether the reports are claiming something right or not, because it has also been said earlier that the movie is fictionalised and not a biopic.

'Yalina's role in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar

In the movie, 'Yalina's role was played by Sara Arjun. 'Yalina' was the daughter of 'Jameel Jamali', who fell in love with 'Hamza Ali Mazari' and got married. The movie carries their love story to the sequel as well, and it ended with a tragic melancholy, infused with hidden truths, confrontation, commitments, sacrifice and separation. 'Yalina's role was something that brought emotional grounding to the story, and it shows how love is beyond everything. 'Yalina' had nearly five-six lines in the movie, but her silence held the weight to a level that it even echoed to the moments of heavy emotions.

In a word, Sara Arjun did an amazing job while essaying 'Yalina's role in the movie. It was being stated that 'Hamza' essayed all the men who worked for our country while sacrificing their lives. On the other hand, some believed that there was actually someone named 'Hamza'. In the movie, 'Jaskirat Singh Rangi' became the Indian spy, the tiger, 'Hamza', and not only did he kill some of the massive names of the underground world, but also, in a way, ruled Karachi.
