Aditya Dhar's movie, Dhurandhar, is roaring at the box office. If the reports are to be believed, the movie is the biggest opener in Ranveer Singh's career, as on Day 1, it marked Rs. 40 crore, and is expected to reach Rs. 100 crore by Sunday. The budget of the movie was reportedly Rs. 280 crore, and if, as per the prediction, the movie can gross up to Rs. 100 crore, then it's clear that Aditya Dhar's movie is a blockbuster.
Audience from all around the corner has been praising the movie in every way. It not only features a stellar cast but also has a strong storyline and a surprise for the viewers with the sequel dropping within just two months. So, let's have a look at what we can expect from Part 2 of Dhurandhar. While a portion of the viewers are yet to watch part 1, others have been eagerly waiting for the second part, whose hints have already been provided through the post-credit scene. The post-credit scene has become very popular through the Marvel movies.

Coming to Dhurandhar, in the post-credit scene, we found an intense glimpse, which will unfold the secrets of Ranveer Singh's character, 'Hamza Ali Mazari'. In Part 2 of Dhurandhar, we might see how 'Hamza Ali Mazari' was transformed from 'Jaskirat Singh', who was a criminal. Part 2 of Dhurandhar will show how the Chief of IB hired 'Jaskirat Singh' for the mission Dhurandhar. It can be said that with the post-credit scene, one thing is clear that Part 2 will unfold the secrets of Ranveer's character in the movie.

Since the trailer for Dhurandhar was released, speculation has been that the movie is based on a real-life event. Aditya Dhar later clarified that the movie is fictional, although it draws inspiration from real-life events. While Sanjay Dutt played 'Chaudhary Aslam Khan', Akshaye Khanna played 'Rahman Dakait', and the other stars' roles were also inspired by real-life characters. While the movie covered Operation Lyari extensively, some events were also shown and later given a fictionalised touch.

Speculations were there that Ranveer Singh might play the role of the brave Indian Major Mohit Sharma, who once took the disguise of another person to be in Pakistan and infiltrated a terrorist outfit.

Later, Aditya Dhar denied these claims, and Mohit Sharma's family also filed a lawsuit, stating that no consent was obtained from them before the movie was made. As it seems Ranveer's role was not inspired by Major Mohit Sharma, it has not yet been disclosed which real-life role inspired his character. According to reports, Ranveer was paid a whopping Rs. 30-50 crore for his role in the movie.
