Indian cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary. The couple had tied the knot on July 4, 2010, in an intimate ceremony in Dehradun, and only their close family members knew that they were going to tie the knot. Moreover, Dhoni and Sakshi embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Ziva Singh Dhoni, in 2015.

After MS Dhoni announced his retirement, he had stopped making public appearances. However, while his millions of fans desperately want to see a glimpse, his wife, Sakshi often shares lovely MS Dhoni pictures.
On July 4, 2021, MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni completed another year of togetherness. The star wife took to her Instagram handle and shared her special anniversary gift by Dhoni. In one of her IG stories, we can see a brand new vintage car in blue and white colour. Sakshi wrote, "Thank you for the anniversary gift", atop it.
During a live chat on the Chennai Super Kings' Instagram page, Sakshi had revealed the details of her first meeting with MS Dhoni. Sakshi had shared that she had met Dhoni via a common friend, and it was the last day of her internship. She had revealed, "The first time I met him was through a common friend, and it was the last day of my internship at Taj, and he seemed to be a very regular guy, like very normal."

Sakshi had further revealed that she was not much aware of cricketers at that time. But her mother was a fan of a pahadi guy with long hair. She had said, "At the time, I didn’t use to follow cricket that much those days. Obviously, I knew Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid, Sourav Ganguly. I knew all those players. But I just knew there was a ‘Pahadi guy’. He has got long hair, and he is a hulk. And my mom she was a fan of him, and when I met him I told Mumma that he doesn’t have long hair he has got short hair."
