Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa has been making headlines since the show was released on June 27, 2026. We are almost a month into the show, and things have only gotten more and more interesting. Amid that, reports have now gone rife that the actor has quit the show mid-season due to some unforeseen circumstances. 

According to reports, fan pages closely tracking the Netflix reality show have alleged that Dhoopar has exited Lock Upp Season2. However, while there has been no official confirmation from Netflix or the makers, the speculation has left fans surprised and concerned. For the unversed, during the past weeks, Dheeraj Dhoopar emerged as one of the strongest contestants with some solid friendships.

He has often been seen standing by Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopda and Sufi Motiwala, with the four sharing several conversations and supporting one another during difficult tasks and Judgement Days. His calm approach and balanced gameplay also earned him praise from viewers. However, the past few days have been a complete roller coaster for the actor.

According to fan pages sharing regular updates from Lock Upp Season 2, Dheeraj Dhoopar's reported exit is linked to his son's health. For the unversed, it was recently revealed that both the actor and his son had been sick before Dhoopar joined the game show. The pages claim that the actor left the show to be with his family following the medical situation. However, these reports remain unverified, and neither Dhoopar nor the show's makers have issued an official statement confirming the same.

While fans wait for an official announcement from the makers or Dheeraj Dhoopar himself, they have grown concerned about the actor and his son's health. However, soon after, Dheeraj Dhoopar's wife issued a clarification on what was happening and revealed that the actor had no idea about the chits. She revealed that Dhoopar had been sick before joining Lock Upp Season 2, and seeing him in the recent episodes really spiked her anxiety as she felt he was not doing well. She stated:

"When Dheeraj was about to leave for the Lock Upp shoot, he was so unwell that he almost backed out. But he obviously did not want to let the makers down and wanted to stay true to his commitment. So somehow he convinced himself, I convinced him, and we left for the shoot."
