It was on June 12, 2020, when Deepika Singh Goyal had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a video addressing Delhi government and Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. In the video, Deepika had shared a message that her mother, who is 59-years-old is in Delhi and is tested COVID-19 positive. Alongside it, she had written a note, which could be read as "My mom has been diagnosed with COVID positive. My mom & dad are in Delhi. The test has been done in Lady Hardinge hospital & they didn’t give reports. They only allowed my father to click its picture. I really hope the concerned personell are reading this and my mom there receives some relief. We need your help. On June 24, 2020, Deepika took to her Twitter handle and a happy news that her mother has been recovered from the COVID-19. She shared a tweet, wherein, she thanked all her well-wishers for praying for her mother and it can be read as "Heartiest thankyou to all of you for praying and wishing speedy recovery for my mother. Deepika's mother was immediately admitted to the hospital after she had shared the message of her being diagnosed with COVID-19. Later, she had thanked the Chief Minister for helping her out in her tweet, which could be read as "Thank you to Delhi Govt & health minister for the immediate response to my tweet & video. Finally my mother got admission in Sir Gangaram hospital. Hoping for her speedy recovery."
