It was on November 14, 2018, when Deepika had gotten married to the love of her life, Ranveer Singh in an intimate ceremony. For those wondering, the duo had a proper filmy love story. For Ranveer, it was love at first sight when he had met the dazzling diva at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau. The actor had clearly stated that he still cannot forget what she was wearing on that day. For Deepika, it started when she signed her first film with Ranveer which was Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela, wherein, the actor had wooed her with his charming skills. Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Deepika opened up on her married life. She shared that marriage is just been a step up and, and the natural evolution of their relationship because they've been dating for so long. Deepika explained Ranveer's nature further and stated that most people think of him as a goofy and high energy person but there is a very mature side to him that a lot of people don't get to see very often. A few days ago, Deepika had celebrated her 34th birthday and Ranveer had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a childhood picture of baby Deepika. Along with it, he had written, "Happy Birthday to my Lil’ Marshmallow."
Apart from this, Ranveer had also planned to woo his ladylove on her birthday with a sea-facing apartment for her. But unfortunately, things didn't go as per his plans. A spotboyE report had stated that Ranveer had planned to invest in a sea-facing apartment and book it on Deepika’s name as his special surprise gift. But the deal fell through and the apartment got sold out even before he could book it.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Deepika Padukone had shared whether she is a birthday person or not. The actress had stated, “I am not a very fussy birthday person. I like to keep it intimate and simple. I am more of a quiet person. I don’t understand the whole fuss around birthdays. But if something happens (celebrations) I am game for that. And it is fun to receive gifts if I may say and all the love and good wishes that come my way.”
In the same interview, Deepika had shared how good Ranveer is at giving her surprises and had revealed, "He always makes sure to do something special. He gives me something special. He has always gone out of his way to make it memorable for me. But more than that, whether it is my birthday or his birthday, we make sure that we spend quality time with each other."
Coming back to Deepika and Ranveer's love story, in an interview with the Open Magazine, Deepika had talked about the same. She had shared, “When we started dating six years ago, I was more successful than him, busier than him, making more money. I’ve never come across a man who is so comfortable with my success and the attention I was getting. He was supportive and encouraging of my career and it wasn’t superficial support. That doesn’t happen with many men. He really cared, and I don’t think our relationship would have lasted if not for how he inherently felt about my world and how much he respected it. I did not have to make compromises to keep my man happy and that was the best thing about him."
