While some users hailed Deepika Padukone for slamming the patriarchal thinking of the society, others bashed her for being in an open relationship with Ranveer Singh. Deepika further shared that whenever she met other people, at the back of her head, she knew she was committed to Ranveer. And her revelation irked many netizens, making the actress a target of trolls.
On February 29, 2024, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their respective IG handles and shared a collaborative post to announce their 'good news'. The couple left their entire fanbase into a meltdown as they revealed that they are going to be parents soon. The photo featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes. Atop the picture, the couple penned a note and revealed that their baby will arrive in September 2024.
