Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh not only created magic on-screen with their sizzling chemistry in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, but their off-screen love, too, is couple goals to many. It was during the making of the same film when Cupid struck the couple with its sharpest arrow, and the rest is history. After denying their dating rumours for some years, the couple announced their wedding, giving a pleasant surprise to their fans.
Ranveer and Deepika began their forever journey on November 14-15, 2018, by taking their wedding vows in Italy, according to Konkani and Sindhi style. Unlike the other celebrities, the couple only shared a couple of pictures from their wedding.

It was only during their appearance at Koffee With Karan in 2023 that the lovely couple unveiled their wedding video. In a recent podcast, All About Eve, Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding filmmaker, Vishal Punjabi, revealed how the couple didn’t share the video for five years. Calling it a belief in warding off the evil eye, Vishal shared:
“You’ll be surprised Deepika and Ranveer didn’t share it for five years. I thought it would never be seen. I guess sometimes, some things are so beautiful, you don’t want to share them with the world. Nazar na lage, as moms would say, and I get that sentiment.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh graced the famous 'Koffee couch' together for the first time during the eighth season in 2023. The duo unveiled many unheard anecdotes about their personal lives and shared their proposal story. They had set the bar really high for couples, leaving everyone shedding happy tears. However, the key highlight of the episode was DeepVeer's wedding video, which was simply heart-melting.

Ranveer and Deepika’s love story began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram–Leela. In a throwback interview with Huffington Post, a crew member from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela shared how the love story of Deepika and Ranveer had started. Talking about the same, the crew member said:
"It was new love- euphoric and maddening. They'd call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting."
