Grooms and brides wait for their bachelor and bachelorette parties to loosen themselves before the D-day.
When it comes to Bollywood celebrities, we expect everything to be grand and lavish. And especially when we talk about the power couple of B-town, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, everything has to be grand and over the top. Ranveer and Deepika had tied the knot on November 14-15, 2018, and they had looked stunning in their wedding outfits. Recently, Deepika made a surprising revelation about her bachelorette party before her grand wedding at Lake Como in Italy. Deepika Padukone has graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar India and revealed that even though she is ‘an old soul’, she can be considered ‘a weird person’. In an interview with the magazine, she revealed what she did for her bachelorette party. And trust us, it is something very unique and interesting. She said, “I’ve always been an old soul. In today’s context, I could be considered a weird person. When I was on my bachelorette, I did laundry twice a day, so I suppose I am weird.”
Deepika also talked about things that have changed post her wedding with Ranveer and said, “I am extremely intuitive, vulnerable and sensitive. For years, I kept all of it within me but now I express things more. I’ve always been an old soul. A lot of what I’m able to achieve is because of (Ranveer) in terms of how comfortable he’s been with my success, or how supportive he is. We’re a good team. We’re still so excited by each other, so inspired by each other. He’s my best friend.”
Deepika and Ranveer had tied the knot in two wedding styles, a Konkani wedding and a Punjabi-Sindhi wedding. Their social media PDAs and their mushy captions for each other has been stealing our hearts ever since they had made their relationship official. In a throwback interview, Deepika had shared what had attracted her towards hubby, Ranveer. She was quoted as saying, “There is no pretence with him, no holding back. People hate him or love him for that, but that’s who he is. He’s genuine, very good at articulating his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry. That’s what got me.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Deepika Padukone had shared that Ranveer Singh is a different person at home and revealed that he has a vulnerable side of him. She had revealed, “I don’t know what happens when he leaves the house as he’s an extremely different person than which I think also people will start seeing. Ranveer Singh has never shied away from praising his lovely wife, Deepika Padukone. He has been admiring Deepika ever since he had met her. Ranveer had once shared about his experience as a married man and had stated, “I’m loving it and highly recommend it. I have been married to Deepika in my head for years now. Just a few months into our relationship, I knew she was the one for me and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I had committed my life to her well before the rituals. I was waiting for her to be ready for it.”
In an interview, the Simmba star, Ranveer had talked about his wifey, Deepika and had said that she has been a force of nature in his life. He had said, “I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. I was just waiting, I told her the minute you say so, we’ll do it.”
Deepika has once talked about spending her rest of the life with Ranveer and had said, “I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant.
