No one is able to take their eyes off the divinity of the Ram Lalla's face, which surfaced online. And Deepika Padukone was no exception. Taking to her IG handle, Deepika posted a photo that featured a lit-up diya, which was seemingly to celebrate the greatest of events, the Ram Mandir inauguration. For the unversed, unlike other Bollywood stars, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh didn't receive any special invitation for the pran prathistha ceremony in Ayodhya.

Celebrities who didn't receive an invitation for the Ram Mandir inauguration

While our IG feeds were filled with glimpses of the B-town celebrities who reached Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir pran prathistha ceremony, a few celebs were missed from the event. For the unversed, along with Deepika and Ranveer, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Shilpa Shetty were not reportedly invited to the ceremony.

The pran prathistha ceremony was graced by several celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr Shriram Nene, and Ayushmann Khurrana graced the ceremony. On the other hand, the whole Ambani clan, along with Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani, and the to-be-married couple, Anant Ambani and Radhika Marchent were seen in Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir inauguration.

Deepika Padukone sparked controversy by wearing a saffron bikini in Pathaan

As Deepika Padukone was not invited to the Ram Mandir inauguration, people have been claiming the reason could be the controversy that was created after the song, Besharam Rang from the movie, Pathaan was released. In the song, Deepika could be seen wearing a saffron-hued bikini, which sparked a lot of debate and left many Hindu sentiments hurt. The movie even was called under boycott.
