Deepika Padukone Gets Trolled For Her Makeup At Cannes, Netizens Say, 'Kali Billi Lag Rahi Hai'

Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone is making India proud at the 75th Cannes Film Festival in France. The gorgeousness has been representing India as one of the jury members. While the world is hooked to their feeds to get glimpses of Deepika's gorgeous look, her day-one style failed to impress the netizens. In fact, Deepika became a subject of massive trolling for her makeup gone wrong. 

Over the past few years, Deepika had given us memorable Cannes looks, which are still loved by the fashionmongers. On May 17, 2022, the official Instagram page of the Cannes Film Festival had introduced the judges' panel. And Deepika in the centre looked radiant as ever in a contemporary ensemble.

For the first day on the red carpet, Deepika wore a saree from the shelves of the ace designer,  Sabyasachi Mukherjee. While, we loved her retro look, which she accentuated with sheeshpatti and danglers, netizens gave a thumbs down to it. Deepika's makeup became a subject of massive trolling. The gorgeousness opted for a bold eyeliner look that covered her eyelids, and black nail paint.

Netizens took to Deepika's Instagram post and flooded her comments section with their opinions. One user wrote, "Sahi ki kali bili lag rahi hai'. Another commented, "Happy Halloween". One netizen pointed out at Deepika's eye makeup which was a disaster. Check it out:

Well, Deepika's red carpet look might have gone wrong, but everyone had loved her contemporary Sabyasachi look. Deepika had ditched the Louis Vuitton ensembles and had opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee's outfit. Deepika had shown off her Indo-Western style in a printed shirt with a pair of green trousers from Sabyasachi’s Tropic of Calcutta collection.
