It was not long before Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas had floored us with their wedding pictures. And Isha Ambani's wedding bash was a host to many 'just married' celeb couples from Bollywood. This wedding was something that we all were waiting for, ever since we heard about the couple's wedding and the day has finally come when the world will witness one of the grandest bashes of India! Speaking about 'just married' celeb couples making their newly-married avatars evident in front of the paparazzi, close friend of Isha Ambani and international sensations, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas totally killed it in their post-wedding avatar. After having a gala time in Udaipur for Isha's pre-wedding bash, we got to see PeeCee and her hubby, looking ethereal. And then comes the first look of Bollywood's reigning queen, Deepika Padukone looking ethereal! Bollywood's Padmaavati was seen donned in a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla cream saree and red blouse apparel. What further accentuated her look was her gelled-hair, minimal sindoor and red chooda! A mere look at Deepika and get ready to blurt out a big 'oh my God!' It is not even a month since Deepika and Ranveer got married to each other at Lake Como, Italy in a private wedding ceremony and we still haven't got over their dreamy wedding pictures. In the recent interview with GQ, the Cocktail star shared that she knows her man, Ranveer, inside-out! She shared, “He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too."
Meanwhile, Ranveer is continuing his share of struggle of trying to be the best husband for Deepika. In an interview, he revealed, “I have achieved the title of ‘boyfriend of the millennium’. Now I am working towards being the ‘husband of the millennium’.” Ranveer Singh looks ‘hot’ in his upcoming film, Simbaa. How did Deepika react on the same? Ranveer revealed, “Rohit sir had shown her a few rushes. She doesn’t overreact on anything in life. So when the screen was off, she looked at me and said, ‘Hot lag raha hai’”. Further speaking about Ranveer, Deepika further added, “Emotionally, I think I'm the more intuitive one. I'd say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he's not all like, 'I'm a man, I can't show my emotions.' He is sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that." About making fans wait long for their wedding pictures, the newbie bride stated, “I think the pictures we shared summed up the wedding - it was magical to have just family and friends there who mean something to you, who don't really care about who you are professionally, but are there because they love you for who you are as a person."
The Chennai Express star also shared that maintaining the individuality of a woman is very important in a wedding. Sharing about the same, she stated, “I'm aware of culture, tradition, all that… I also understand what it means to be my own person. Of course, it's exciting to take your relationship to the next level, but at no point as a woman should you forget your sense of individuality. It's important to remain authentic and stay true to who you are. The idea is not to lose yourself in the process of marriage."
While Deepika is the cover of GQ this month, her equally superstar hubby is the cover boy for Filmfare magazine. Therein, Ranveer too, spoke about his 6-year-old relationship with Deepika and revealed, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now. Coming back to Isha and Anand, the couple are now happily married! The families of the couple have known each other for over four decades. Anand-Isha had been good friends themselves before Anand proposed her for marriage. Anand, 33, proposed to Isha, 26, in early May 2018, at Maharashtra's Mahabaleshwar temple and she said a ‘yes’! Isha’s twin brother Akash Ambani and fiancee, Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamond magnate, Russel Mehta are expected to get married, early next year.
